Installing a Racing Beat exhaust
Thanks to the magic of film editing, this is the several hour process of installing a Racing Beat header and Exhaust (with a Mazda Motorsports catalytic converter delete pipe) on SportsCar magazine's Project Miata, which races in SCCA's ITA class. (Special thanks to Kevin MacLeod for the royalty free "Olde Timey" song.)

Mazdaspeed miata 17psi vs 6.0 LS2 GTO 440 hp
If you want to run water meth on your Mazdaspeed mx5 I recommend a 3 gallon per hour nozzle & 14.5 psi of Boost with the stock injectors & I disconnect my throttle position sensor to give more fuel a lower rpm's when I know I will be hitting the gas & reconnect the TP sensor when I am just cruising around. With TP sensor connected I go full throttle only above 5000 rpm's where it switches between open & closed loop at anything above 10.5 psi. I do not run 17 psi all the time just did a few times. Most of the time I have it set to 14.5 psi. I feel very safe at 14.5 psi with water/meth injection. & on curvy mountain roads sometimes I will shut the water/meth off & turn the Boost down to 10 or 10.5 psi. Mazdaspeed mx5 1.8L turbo, 2450lbs, FM intake, FM downpipe, no muffler, Devils Own progressive water/meth kit, Denso 321cc injectors, 17psi VS 6.0L LS2 Pontiac GTO cold air intake & Exhaust pipes 440hp.

Miata Exhaust: Stock vs. Jackson Racing Part 2
Stock 95 Exhaust compare with Jackson Racing Cat-Back Exhaust. The car is pretty much stock, I have a K&N filter to make air flows easier. I bought this Exhaust used for $75. Yes you heard it right. $75 :). Took me about 1 hour for installation, then I found out the gaskets leak like crazy. Some of the bolts are rusted. So I just took it to a muffler shop and have them to do the job. I'm happy with the sound, but not a fan of the big Exhaust tip. Click Part 1 for video of Stock Exhaust.
