Oh boy. At least seven attempts later...it finally started. It ran and drove pretty good for a free car. The spark plugs came from the white car (see my other videos). I'll need to get a battery and see if I can fix the power steering leak.
Forgotten Grain Truck - Part 4
Can you depend on a Chevrolet, even if it's been neglected and left to sit
for over twenty years? Watch and find out! Here is your long-awaited
update, at last!
The Old Cold Forgotten Buick Rides Again
As originally threatened, we are getting this one "road ready" once again.
It runs very well, but rust has caused lots of problems. And the power
windows are lethargic to say the least.
Also: a sneak peek of what we'll be making a video about next. (As soon as
the Keykeeper figures out where he misplaced our camera!)
Reviving the 1989 Taurus
Will it start? Seemingly not. And then it started to rain ice. Fear not,
however, for the Keykeeper and I shall return!
This is just another video shout out to davidsfarm, who has much better
luck getting his cars to start!
200th Video Surprise! - Forgotten Grain Truck Part 5
Sadly, I didn't get much further than last time. It's still very finicky.
I'm not sure how much more effort I want to put into this. I will probably
pull the carburetor to see what's going on there, and I may consider an
external gas tank
'82 Mercedes 300TDT First Start In 8 Years
Just bought two more of these wonderful cars. This one is a 1982 model,
that sat behind a barn for 8-10 years. I'm going to use this one as a parts
car, because the car is rusted beyond repair.
1967 Pontiac Firebird 20 Year Cold Start
We work on starting my new 67 Firebird after it has been sitting for 20
years untouched in Wasilla, Alaska. The tags expired in 1989. It has the
original Overhead Cam Inline Six Engine. Before starting it we put oil down
the cylinders, primed the oil system, changed the oil and replaced the Cap,
Rotor, Plugs, and Points. A Complete restoration is planned for the
Cold Start the 1972 Plymouth Fury! Brrrr...
Hi! Its cold and there's a lot of snow on the ol' 72 Fury. Lets see if it
will go. I bought this car about 5 years ago, and I've been using it as a
daily driver since then. It shows about 75000 miles, so it should last me a
while yet. I like these fuselage models, especially the 72 Fury. Its a mean
looking old thing! I actually hit a moose with this car last week, and it
didn't leave a mark on the car! No wonder the cops liked these things,
they're incredibly tough, even if they are a bit hard to look at. Thanks
for checking it out!
Me and my dad see my dad's old car for the first time in 20 years.
He sold the car over 20+ years ago when he was an alcoholic. Said he
probably would have died in it. This is the first time he saw it since he
sold it over 20+ years ago. The car does look in relative good shape, we
have no idea what has been done with the car over the past 20 years. It
obviously wasn't sitting there for 20 years and nobody claims it to be. Pay
attention, people. 1964 Buick Rivera. 425 Wildcat V8 w/ 427 horsepower.
