With an eye towards snaring an even larger slice of the premium full-size SUV market, the all-new 2011 Infiniti QX56 made its world debut in New York boasting a new look, new features and enhanced capabilities. In addition to smartly stepping up its real-world appeal, Infiniti announced that price points for both the rear- and four-wheel-drive variants of the 7/8-passenger QX56 will carry over at existing 2010 levels. That means a rear-drive 2011 QX56 will start at $57,565, while the four-wheel-drive model will open at $60,665 when they go on sale this summer.

Lighter, more efficient and generally more Porsche-like. Those are some of the key attributes that define the all-new 2011 Porsche Cayenne unveiled at the 2010 New York International Auto Show. In addition to gasoline engines rated at 300, 400 and 500 horsepower the 2011 Porsche Cayenne is being offered for the first time with a hybrid powertrain that produces a combined output of 380 horsepower while achieving fuel savings of around 20% compared to a standard V8. Also contributing to overall improvements in performance and efficiency is an across the range weight reduction of about 400 pounds. A few years ago it seemed the only momentum Buick had was downhill. In fact, several auto industry pundits called for the elimination of the brand as General Motors reorganized. But Buick survived the tumult within GM, and it has emerged stronger than it has been in over a decade. A hot-selling new LaCrosse and the imminent arrival of the Buick Regal are two reasons why Buick marketing head Craig Bierley is feeling so confident these days. We had a chance to speak with him about the resurgent brand at the New York International Auto Show.
2011 Nissan Patrol
The next generation 2011 Nissan Patrol has leaked online over night with various details, images and a video being released. We're not sure how this managed to happen, but we're pretty sure it was on purpose. Almost all the details of the 2011 Nissan Patrol have been released a year before the official unveiling of the car.
The 2011 Nissan Patrol is built on the platform of the Infiniti QX and features a new front and rear fascia design and a fresh interior. The 2011 Nissan Patrol shows a leather and wood interior with various chromed accents.
As seen in the images, the 2011 Nissan Patrol will be powered by a 5.6 liter V8 engine that might be the one from the Infiniti M56.
If this is the case, the 2011 Nissan Patrol will output 400 hp in the V8 configuration. We're also sure the 2011 Nissan Patrol will be offered with various diesel engines too.
