Bridgestone Tyres have now started the release of the new Potenza S001. The Bridgestone Potenza S001 is the new Ultra High Performance tyre aimed at the high end sports cars such as Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes and Aston Martin.
The Bridgestone Potenza S001 is the long term successor to the Potenza RE050 and will eventually replace it in most sizes.

To evaluate the differences between some of the latest run-flat tire designs, we took a look at a group of Ultra High Performance and Max Performance Summer run-flat tires. Tested were the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A I RFT (O.E. on BMW 3 Series), the Kumho Ecsta SPT XRP, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP and Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFT.
