The 2012 Audi S5 coupe is powered by a direct injection 4.2 liter V-8 engine that makes 354 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic Tiptronic. Fuel economy is 16 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. Performance figures are impressive as the 2012 Audi S5 rockets from 0-60 MPH in 4.9 seconds thanks to the Quattro AWD system with a top speed of 155 MPH.
On the outside the 2012 Audi S5 keeps the classic coupe shape with a hint of Audi R8 supercar style. The S-Line gets all kinds of cool badges on the exterior as well as on various interior pieces like the doorsills. There is also a set of beautiful alloy 19-inch rims wrapped in summer high performance tires. Out back the double quad-tip Exhaust system not only looks great but adds to the performance and sound of the S5. Only S-Line vehicles from Audi come with Aluminum side mirrors; that's one way to identify these luxury sports cars. But all these items pale in comparison to Audi's signature LED daytime headlights.
On the inside the 2012 Audi S5 coupe is all about luxury and technology. The first thing you notice is the stylish and sporty leather seats that are available wrapped in Silk Nappa leather with available Alcantara inserts. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and features and S-Line badge integrated on it along with integrated infotainment controls. The sound system is a top of the line 505 watt Bang & Olufsen unit. Bluetooth connectivity is standard and the S5 features Audi's high-tech MMI Navigation unit. With the advanced key; the car automatically locks and unlocks itself when you are around. Also the push button start system is a must have for any respectable luxury car.
