95 Talon TSi with a 1G BOV. Seeing how it sounds atmospheric. This is NOT recommended. Although it sounds tuff, you need to have it Recirculated on stock MAF or you will run rich everytime the BOV goes off and the car will want to stall when you hit Boost and then put it in neutral. The ducttape is there to block off the recirc. Hole temporarily.
1G Blow off valve leak... Not the usual kind
This is a 1g BOV I bought from a member on tuners. I received the BOV and all seemed well. I bought this BOV to perform the Dodge Mode (Video to come), so I did just that. After modding the BOV I set up a little contraption of T's and hose to make sure everything was sealed up and to check the set screw in the bottom of the BOV to make sure it was sealed. During testing, I found that the BOV is leaking air out of the discharge tube when pressure is applied to the bottom nipple. This leak can be altered by moving the shaft side to side (seen in the end of the video) but never stoped. I know there must be a seal that goes around the shaft and I am guessing that this has went bad, but I am no genius and would like your advice. I will let you know the outcome that I come up with.

2 1/2" upper i/c pipe, 3" turbo back, custom "home/shop made" o2 housing, 1 3/4 D.O.M four point cage, 17psi mbc, re-wired fuel pump, ported 14b turbo & 2g manifold, sorry it cut the part for my tires they are BFGoodrich GForce tires (same as ken blocks gymkana tires) and last but not least....... My Talon has a boost leak
My old 1995 talon tsi awd had a Boost leak. It would shutter at first at full Boost and eventually got so bad it wouldnt go over 30 mph. Turned out my stock Intercooler piping from 1995 had started to come off from a bad gasket then it really came off and had to be replaced. Being a stock side mounted Intercooler I couldnt see that which would have been nice to spot ahead of time. I love this car and I miss it but without these cars we would be driving reliable cars that were no fun at all. We recorded this on 5th avenue in Williamsport, PA near Penn College.
How to remove / install bov (blowoff valve)
Very simple and straight forward install and can be applied to many bovs for many cars.
This will be pretty much the same for a stock 1g bov.
