The CLEANEST 270k Mile Truck You Have Ever Seen!!!!!
A typical problem for shoppers on a budget is finding the right mix of utility, space and economy without having to buy a trashed out vehicle. This Toyota T-100 4X4 is a perfect find for the driver who needs the utility of a truck bed, needs good fuel economy, work ready features and yet has the need to bring along a few passengers from time to time so would rather not drive a beater. Well equipped with durable plush leather bucket seats, deep center console, CD, AC, automatic transmission, 2" trailer tow package, tough as nails 3.4 Liter V-6 engine, off road friendly SR5 package, rear passenger seats, alloy wheels, bed liner, power locks/windows, extended cab, fresh Cooper Discovery tires and so much more! This is a CARFAX one owner, no issues vehicle dealer serviced and owned here in north Texas so you can buy with confidence! This is a MUST SEE! Too clean to describe, and even if I tried you would still be shocked at just how nice this truck really is! 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 5.7L V8 Odd Behavior
This truck acts odd. It runs fine, but after a few minutes, the Speedometer and RPM gauges start to jump (rise, then lower, then rise, sometimes until they are at stuck at maximum) and the truck acts like it's missing everytime this happens. Sometimes the truck just shuts off. This video is not of the truck having extreme symptoms. I am raising the rmps on my own, then the speedometer jumps up, and the check engine light flashes on and the truck misses. When I don't give it any throttle, the truck idles below normal, but sometimes (toward the end of the video), it runs normal and has no problems. I am hoping someone has an idea of what could be causing the trouble.
I have replaced the distributor (twice), the Distributor Cap, the Spark Plugs, the Spark Plug Cables, the battery (twice), the ECM (Not sure if it's referred to as the ECM, ECU, Computer), the Throttle Position Sensor, the Coil, the Speed Sensor, the Throttle Body, and the Alternator. There may be more, but I don't remember. This has all been replaced in an attempt to fix this same problem. The distributors seemed to make it better for about 30 minutes at a time, which seems wierd to me, but nothing really helped the problem.
I installed an Edelbrock Permormer instake manifold before this happened, but this problem didn't come about until about 3 months after isntallation.
Thanks for any advice you may have!

Messing around with the camcorder, it's garbage though and the mic on it isn't very good. Seemed to get pretty quiet when I really revved it.
I edited the video to remove the REALLY quiet stuff. I'll see about trying to record it again later. The whole first part of the video I cut out sounded terrible when I revved it right up, hardly does it any justice :p
