$400 Suburban
The day after I bought this Suburban for $400 as my new daily driver, I had to go test it out a little bit. It's a 1977 1/2 ton 4x4 Suburban with a Goodwrench 350, SM465 4spd manual and NP205, GM 12-bolt rear and 10-bolt front with 3.73 gears and no lockers or no posi, stock height, factory 15x8 Rally wheels and 235/75R15 balding street tires, factory tach gauge cluster, tilt column, rear a/c and heat. Almost every Silverado option except for PW or PDL or intermittent wipers. Was sort of rare being a manual transmission also.
A drive in my Diesel K-5
Just a quick cold start/cruise.
Also listening for the whirring noise that my SM465 is making with the clutch out and the trans in neutral.
Any idea what it is?

PokerRun2009
You will have to play "My Friend Of Misery" by Metallica for the music that is supposed to go with this video. January 17th Poker Run. I took my Stepside on 42" Iroks, Dwayne with the Suzuki Samurai on 36" Iroks, Travis in the 4-Runner on 35" BFG's, Marvin and Sam in the '72 Chevy, Tim in the Cherokee and Randy in the Ford Flatbed. Travis, Dwayne and myself were the only ones to make the loop. I had the largest tires and got around best (of the trucks). Dustin and Richard were there on 4-wheelers and Dustin's 4-wheeler had tracks which went everywhere. I could almost go wherever I wanted with the 42's on the Stepside, it just wasn't very fast breaking trail.
AXLE BREAKS 3/4 ton shortbox chevy sm465/205. Big block.
Here is what happens when you taker your street/strip engine out of your car and put it in your 4x4 One of the axle ujoints and the hub in the dana 44 broke. Then he got it crossed up trying to back down and wedged it against a tree. It took two more 3/4 ton chevy's. The blue one in the video and revy kevy's old one, to pull him up and out.
GMC 12'' lift 42'' tires 400 small block
Three trucks went mudding this past weekend in Butler Co. KY. We thought this puddle was a lot deeper than it really was. The truck in the video had no problem getting through it! Either way it was still awesome!
