Race1 Nippon Challenge Brands Hatch 29/06/13
This was my first time at Brands so lines are a bit dodgy. I'd also just
removed the rear wing so I'm learing to drive a very oversteering Subaru.
The cars normally about 360bhp but for some reason Boost was running at 1.1bar instead of 1.5 for
this weekend racing.
Round 1 of ITCC, Mondello Park Ireland from onboard Tuning Factory Honda
CRX. Driven by Barry Rabbitt
Starts on pole but alternator failure slows the lap times by 2-3 seconds.
ITCC Round 3 - TF/Race DNA Integra
Onboard footage from the Tuning Factory/Race DNA DC2 Type R. This was on
the second day on track for the teams new car and its first time in the
wet. Driven by Barry Rabbitt to 4th place.

Nippon Challenge Cadwell Park 2012 - Race 2
After an easy lights to flag victory in race one we decided to take the
rear wing off the car as a bit of an experiment and generally for a bit of
laugh. Turns out our front bumper and undertray modifications generate
real downforce as The Hag was back to her ususal oversteery ways! Also
back were cooked rear tyres and serious pad knock back issues from mid way
through the race, making every braking zone an adventure. Not an Enid
Blyton rum old adventure with lashings of ginger beer, more of a cold sweat
inducing brake pedal to the floor and no slowing down type adventure. Not
ideal at a track like Cadwell with its many lovely barriers and trees to
park a car in. We'll be keeping the wing on and fitting a set of Alcon
front brakes for the final round of the season at Snetterton.

After jumping the start Tim Clarke drops to 14th and then claws his way
back to the top but an unfortunate incident with a back marker ruins his
Kris Dunlop is also involved in some close racing untill he also has an
unfortunate racing incident.

After Simon Deaton jumped the start Barry Rabbitt in the Tuning Factory DC2
was left stranded on the middle of the grid, after some confusion and
dropping back to 7th by the first corner Barry rampages through the field
to bag an impressive result for the Tuning Factory Team in their first
outing at Brands.
