First start up. Small block chevy. 406. Mild cam, Holley 450's. Weiand tunnel ram. Headers are on backwards and upside down because they wont fit because of the frame. And no, thats not permanent. haha
Timing issues on my blazer
1985 K5 blazer. Crate 350/290hp. trying to set the timing after replacing the head gaskets. it will only start when the timing is 35* advanced. anything less it dies quickly or won't start at all. first, i try to start it with the distributor at around where it should be for correct timing. i then rotate it counter-clockwise and start it up near 35* advance. please note that horrible whine that i can't id once it's running near the end.
