Here is a short clip of my '79 F250 Ford powered by a 6V53T Detroit diesel pushing some snow. We were trying to clean up after getting approx. 12-14" of snow dumped on us!!!

Setting the engine up and breaking it in.Remember this engine is just being started after a rebuild so that's why it's smoking from the assembly lube and the rack will be set-up to stop the hunting etc etc. Then the oil is changed and the engine painted. These engine's go into Euclid mining rock trucks,and they were in many other equipment/vehicles.The engine has rebuild heads,turbo's, blower, water pump,all internal parts and the air compressor All done in the great north of Canada

DD 453-T runs away! rack gets stuck on valve cover. almost lost some fingers too, it was all i could find. F'ed up new turbo compressor wheel, was only damage thankfully!

missed a shift or two. Camera and tri pod in the way a little. Shifts better when the trans a rear warmed up a little more.
The main box 4th and 5th are shifted 2 times when using the 2 speed, 4th low rear 5th low rear back to 4th high rear then 5th high rear.
Picked up a 5th wheel sider hitch for it. Soon to do some body work and Exhaust stacks up the back side
Detroit Diesel 6v-92 Grain Truck RETURN!!
The famous GMC Brigadier returns for another harvest season. It has the same 6V-92 made by Detroit Diesel. It still is hauling its normal 500 bushel load.

Sounds GREAT! Owner installed a two stroke 4-53 (four cylinders, 53 CID per cylinder) Detroit Diesel into their '89 Chevrolet half ton truck. Saw this at Carcraft summer nationals 2010.

Here is a video of our '79 F250 powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V53T idling. Sorry for the choppy video, as I was walking on top of the plow and darn near fell off on the one edge. In the near future, I am going to turn up the idle speed a bit and adjust the idle buffer screw a bit to get some of the surge out.
