She is a Trans Am, not just a Firebird. Gonna get all the usable stuff off her, then either sell the hulk as a project to someone interested, or scrap it by next weekend. Which ever comes first. My 1985 Firebird project
My 1985 Pontiac Firebird. Originally a 2.8 V6 and somebody swapped it to a 1987 LG4 305 V8. This video was me jumping the car because it was dead. I have no idea if the smoke coming out is normal. Any help would be appreciated. This seemed to be a very ugly swap because it's been causing me nothing but headaches. I know I'm leaking a little coolant at the thermostat because the gasket didn't seal correctly, other than that I don't know. Sometimes the car will run fine and other times like garbage. I've got a check engine light on thats throwing a code 12 which is not informing me of anything. I dunno if the last owner left the v6 computer in or what?
I bought her as a project and it sure is turning out to be just that.
