I was lucky enough to film the action so close with the Pagani team and mr.Horacio Pagani in person in the pitlane area. It was a delivery day for a very lucky owner who wanted to drive on the track his brand new toy. Pagani Zonda R BURNOUT, Backfire and Accelerations!
I have filmed a Pagani Zonda R. This one was used to make the incredible lap time of 6 minutes and 47 seconds making it the fastest supercar ever used at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. You can see it in action being driven by Andrea Montermini a former F1 driver. The video shows multiple launches, full throttle standing starts, many accelerations to the rev limiter, revs and fly bys! This is for sure one of the most amazing, brutal and loud racecar i have ever seen! As the night comes you can see some little flames coming out from the Exhaust! I have filmed an incredible custom Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster, it's the only Cinque Roadster with a different paintjob and livery in the world. Even if it's the #4 of 5, this is considered as the last one made. This Cinque is characterized with a yellow paintjob over a part with the carbon fiber view and with the italian tricolour livery. Pagani - Pirelli Tyre - Assuring new technologies and materials are fit for production means also putting the vehicle's components under severe stresses, exceeding those normally encountered in every day road driving. The Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most demanding track in the world, for man and machine, an ordeal that each Pagani has to pass, only one of many in the entire development phase. The Zonda R serves as the ultimate test bench, a car able to reach acceleration figures and speeds that are not possible with a road car.
