1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, ends up Wrecked!
Okay here is a vid of a beautiful Old's Cutlass that would come to my work for repairs. overtime I took vids of it when we did some work for the owner. and then after all his time and money he put into it. it had a very sad ending! I used Marilyn Manson's sweet dreams for a background song. I know in the end its not a sweet dream but rather a nightmare. but I like the song cause it was a sweet car, and that a dream car to me with a tragic end! I'm glad for the family and owner of the car that I heard everyone was okay, other then what had happened. that matters most! though the car may be wrecked, with pictures and videos you can always reflect back to how it was so sweet, but sadly you have to move on, buy another like it, and alot of hard work to bring it back or make the other as nice by using what parts are good still. I wish them the best. I and my coworkers and others will always remember the beautiful car he had and wish them the best on moving on towards a new project just like it.

1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible 455 V8 Muscle Car
I thought you'd like a look at this awesome 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 convertible. This car is powered by the 455 Rocket V8 that is pumping out over 370 HP and 500 LbFt of torque. It has been nicely restored all the way around and it features some interesting and desirable options. It has the Hurst "His and Hers" shifter, the tic toc tach, and the functional ram-air hood. YES THIS IS A REAL 442 AS VIN NUMBER 344871R...... WILL PROVE. ONE OF ONLY 6,285 HARDTOP 442'S MADE IN 1971. POSI TRACTION WAS ONLY STANDARD ON THE W-30S AND OPTIONAL ON THE REGULAR 442 SILLY AS IT SOUNDS. SO IF YOU TELL ME MINES NOT REAL WITH THE VIN# IDENTIFYING IT YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOUR ARE TALKING ABOUT AND NEED TO READ UP ON THESE CARS. I DEACTIVATED COMMENTS FOR THIS VERY REASON. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL 3.08 REAR END OPTION G90. POSI TRACTION REARENDS WERE NEVER STANDARD EQUIPMENT ON REGULAR 442'S AT ANY POINT FROM 68-71 (442 WAS AN OPTION ON THE CUTLASS/F85 FROM 64-67 AND AGAIN IN 72). THE POSI WAS REQUIRED ON THE W-30. SO THIS 71 442 HAS OPTION G90 OPEN AXLE GEARED AT 3.08. Completely restored with all new fenders, doors, trunklid & pans and all new chrome and stainless trim, our 442 is back to her former glory! Under the hood resides a rebuilt OLDS 455 V-8 @ 370 bhp mated to a rebuilt Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a 12 bolt Posi-traction limited slip rear differential. Mirror finished in Light Beechwood with black hood stripes and complimented with a black bucket seat interior with factory wood accents on the dash and center console, this car is a real standout! Our car is equipped with OPTIONAL COLD air conditioning, a color matched rear deck spoiler, sport steering wheel, power steering, and power disc brakes. And boy, does all that rumble sound great coming through a Flowmaster dual Exhaust system! For that agressive street stance, this 442 has factory SS-I Super Stock wheels with new BF Goodrich raised white letter T/A's.
