1941 Chevy Coupe Hot Rod!! - SOLD!
This 1941 Chevy Special Deluxe Coupe was a California car and is powered by
a 216 6 cylinder. It has a $3K Jaguar front suspension w/disk brakes,
radio and heater, rack and pinion steering, the rear end has been changed
to higher gears (385?), the manifold has been split, and it has Fenton
Headers w/Smithy's, and decorative non functional lake pipes. Other than
the above, the car is mostly stock. There is a very small area of rust
behind the rear quarters cut out that has been rust morted to kill it.
Besides the wild set of pipes, the higher rear end gears make it an
excellent highway car—good for cruising. The restoration is estimated to
have been done 20-25 years ago and our current seller has owned the car
approximately 7 years. This car is shown by appointment only.
Vehicle information above is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. All
vehicles are offered subject to an inspection and an appraisal if desired.

Looking for sheer performance, an unbeatable show piece or just a cool car
to own and enjoy? With this Chevy, you'll have all three!
Bathed in a vivid combination of orange, white and purple paint, and
detailed with a full set of tan and green pin stripes, this bright '41
Coupe is the kind of killer pro-street we all dream of owning as kids and
pledge to build as adults. The car's super straight body displays excellent
fit under a smooth and glossy clearcoat shell. And with an unbeatable
combination of old school style and striking good looks, its build
absolutely nails that often attempted but rarely achieved formula of OEM
quality in a completely custom package!
A careful hoist of the car's glossy steel hood reveals an NHRA-spec 454
cubic inch big block V8 which has been bored .060 over and, with the help
of its BDS 8-71 Supercharger, turns a
steady stream of E85 ethanol into a whopping 1,085 China shaking horsepower! At the top of
that massive powerhouse, a polished Hilborn intake twists color-keyed
butterflies to funnel air into a four port Hilborn injection system that's
complete with bright braided hoses and high quality aluminum fittings.
Below that polished juice box, the big BDS blower shines between a
traditional set of polished valve covers and a familiar set of aluminum
Edelbrock Performer heads. And at the back of those heads, a chrome covered
distributor fires sparks through purple Taylor performance plug wires.
Spent gases are whisked away by a carefully placed pair of ceramic coated,
long tube headers which roar into an aggressive three inch Exhaust system. Cooling comes courtesy of an
oversized aluminum radiator that's mounted between two quick spinning
electric pusher fans, sleeved hoses and a polished Weiand water pump. And
silver Deist Safety straps make sure all the mill's beastly power doesn't
get too out of hand.
Behind the big block, a race-prepped turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed automatic
transmission utilizes a custom Ford nine inch rear end, which was built by
Chris Alston's Chassisworks, to turn tough Strange S/S Street axles.
Holding that awesome drivetrain off the ground is a back-halved frame which
rides on a Mustang II front
suspension, a fully adjustable four link rear suspension and a full set of
Aldan coil over shocks. And at the corners of that chassis, manual rack and
pinion steering and power four wheel disc brakes counter the big engine's
rocket-like momentum only when they're needed. Burnt dinosaurs flow through
a three inch true dual Exhaust system
which hangs great sounding Dynomax Race Magnum mufflers in
front of traditional, welded side pipes. And power flows to the strip
through 15 inch Billet Specialties wheels which spin beefy 26x7.50 Mickey
Thompson Sportsmans up front and sticky 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson Sportsman
Pros out back.
Pop this bright coupe's remote controlled doors and you'll find a tasteful
custom interior that combines spectacular paint with supple leather
surfaces. Top dead center is a pair of firm and modern bucket seats which
are supportive and feel soft enough to take a nap on. At the sides of those
seats, custom door panels hang slick, curved armrests and great sounding
speakers below attractive billet door handles and simple power window
switches. And between those seats, a custom, leather covered console
anchors a slick Lokar-style shifter behind billet accessory knobs and a
remote controlled, MP3 compatible Pyle CD/DVD player. At the front of the
car, a stylish orange dash hangs attractive Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite
gauges below a billet rearview mirror. In front of the driver, a polished
tilt steering column spins a stylish Bad steering wheel around a full set
of billet stalks and foot pedals. And behind the cockpit, a remote
controlled decklid reveals a custom upholstered trunk which conceals a
large fuel cell below a fair amount of storage space.
With its solid and clean all-steel body, cool paint job, completely custom
leather interior, hot big block V8, and custom drivetrain and suspension,
this 1941 Chevrolet Coupe has it all! Call, click or visit

My 1941 chevy
Im the 17 yr. old owner of a '41 chevy that I got after trading 2 quads for
it. I got it not running & sitting in the previous owners back yard for 15
plus years. With the help of my dads long time friend/mechanic he was able
to figure out the problem, change parts on it and tune the
engine/tranny/rear end and now its a running car. It has a 235 inline 6
engine from a '48 chevy fleetline & a '57 chevy rear end & everything else
is original. With money I saved up i was able to pay my dads friend to get
it running, do all electrical work on it and put dual straight 1.5 inch
pipe on it which sounds awesome with the fenton headers it has on it. Its
a work in process but i have major plans for it and im excited to finally
be able to cruise this car around town.
