How to change the disc brakes on a GM car.
In this video I show how to put new pads and rotors on a gm car with the aluminum calipers.
*** krkvideos.com for more! ***
Please note:
As you are pushing the caliper pistons back into their bores with the c-clamp, pay careful attention to the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If the fluid is going to overflow out of the reservoir you may need to use something like a turkey baster to remove some of the brake fluid.
Also, when you are finished, make sure the fluid level is to your cars full mark.
Remember, brake fluid damages paint.
The car in the video is a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am.
I reused the brake hardware which includes the slide plates as well as the seals in the caliper bracket. The slide pins were also reused.
DO NOT DEPRESS THE BRAKES WHILE THE CALIPERS ARE OFF OF THE CAR. MAKE SURE ALL BOLTS ARE SECURED PROPERLY OR PERSONAL INJURY MAY RESULT.

I think the title covers this one. Honda's are famous for this so I made this little video to help you should you be in this situation. Wear your safety glasses when you do this or whenever you hit things, getting crap in your eye sucks, trust me. Impact drivers can be found at your local tool supplier. If you don't have a hammer I don't know what to tell you. This doesn't seem to require a long explanation so I'm going to stop typing now.
