Driving on the Street with a 2000hp Hemi Mountain Motor
Ride on board with Robert Killian's 2000 horsepower Ford Model A sedan. Some might call it a rat rod, but there's nothing ratty about this high end drag car. It has a chrome moly tube chassis, a Jon Kaase Racing Engines 820ci FORD Hemi engine, making 2,000hp without a power adder. Similar engine as the IHRA Pro Stock runs, but modified to handle regular street driving. The driving in this video is a bit boring, but if you want to really see it in action check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9s5YIwlbH_Y&feature
This car was featured in a 5 page article in the February 2012 issue of Hot Rod Magazine.
2000hp Hemi Hot Rod at Atlanta Dragway
Robert Killian's 1928 Ford Model A sedan runs a new best at the Atlanta
Speed Shop $10,000 nostalgia race, held at Atlanta Dragway. Robert's sedan
is powered by a 820ci Jon Kaase Ford Hemi, which is naturally aspirated and
makes 2000 horsepower. With limited
testing, the car makes an easy pass and runs 7.58 at 181 miles per hour in
the quarter mile. Is this the worlds fastest rat rod? It has already run a
7.40 in previous testing.
Robert has already proven it can be driven on the street, and it is 100
percent street legal (aside from the drag slicks) so this car has great
potential for a Hot Rod Drag Week contender if he can get the bugs worked
out of it. The car has already been featured in the February 2012 issue of
Hot Rod magazine, and it has also been featured on My Classic Car with
STTV 43 - Year End Finale 2013
Mike Hill, along with Jeff Miles and the rest of the staff at the fabled
House of Hook, hosted their and years end extravaganza and the action was
something to behold.

ShBOOM. They are all quite the sight!
Robert Killian's 2000hp Hemi Model A
One of the many cool cars at the Spring Chattanooga Cruise-In, Robert
Killian's insane Model A is the blueprint for how to build the wildest car
at any event. Robert stuffed the largest motor he could find into the
slickest chassis you will ever see and off he went! Robert's mega-motored
Model A makes exhibition passes at drag strips and generally steals the
show everywhere it goes. The details are stunning and the very idea of the
thing will melt your brain! Great car Robert, and thanks for bringing to
Robert's 1928 Ford Model A features a double rail tube chassis, built by
Steve Tucker. The engine is a Jon Kaase Racing Engines FORD-based Hemi,
which is 820 cubic inches. The engine is originally designed for IHRA Pro
Stock, and makes 2,000 horsepower without the use
of any power adders. No Nitrous, no
blower, no turbo...just raw power.
Robert's crazy Model A drag car was featured in the February 2012 issue of
Hot Rod Magazine.
Robert set up the car to be street legal, aside from the slicks, and
occasionally takes it for a drive. The car is chopped, channeled, stretched
and anything else you can think of. It's awesome in our book.
