Lexus ES 350 2012
The ES 350 entry luxury sedan continues to be a Lexus favorite with its comfortable cabin and smooth ride. With a plethora of standard amenities, such as 17-inch wheels, moonroof, 10-way power adjustable front seats, leather-trimmed seats and a multi-information display, the ES continues to impress new and loyal consumers. The ES 350 cruises into the 2012 model year virtually unchanged except for the new Nebula Gray Pearl exterior, which replaces Smoky Granite Mica; and the discontinuation of Peridot Mica.
The ES 350's aluminum 3.5-liter V6 produces 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 248 lb.-ft. peak torque at 4,700 rpm using 87-octane regular fuel. The ES has EPA fuel economy estimates of 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 on the highway. The chain-driven camshafts employ Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (Dual VVT-i) for optimal performance and efficiency at all engine speeds.
The six-speed automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i) provides a sequential manual shift feature for a more involved driving experience when desired. Shifting strategy adapts to driver input, with rapid downshift response.

What I have to say about the 2013 Lexus ES: As you probably heard in the video, I think this car is a Masterpiece in luxury wise. One gripe I have is that its not involving to drive. I'm very impressed with this new 2013 ES, it's so much better than the previous generation. The interior is also very accommodating and ultra luxurious with everything being well put together in the car. The Lexus Enform is a very nice touch too, using data connectivity through your smart phone, your able to access various apps like Pandora and Bing. With a Hybrid as well it earns really good fuel economy hitting numbers in the 40 MPG range which is impressive, all in all I expect this car to be a really good seller. 2013 Toyota Avalon

This certainly isn't the Avalon of old. The replacement to the Buick all the old folks in Florida seem to love. Toyota says this new Avalon will be a sporty large sedan. A poor man's BMW perhaps? If the drive is anything like it looks, it should be a lot of fun. They claim to have stiffened the chassis and improved the suspension for a sports sedan ride. I hope they're right. The current Avalon is a big comfortable boat. It's something that came straight from the Lexus lineup. This new Avalon should change all of that. It looks great in my opinion from inside to out. It definitely fits the Toyota Family with the new front end and the tail is absolutely stunning. The dash is well laid out but those touch sensitive keys always seem to get on people's nerves, including mine. They didn't work well on Ford's MyFordTouch system, hopefully Toyota got it right on their car. I can't wait to see future reviews on this big guy.
It should make very good competition for the redesigned Impala.
