Run up Roumie's old back road in a Mercedes C36AMG/// Location: Lebanon
Too bad, had too much traffic thus couldn't risk cutting blind corners.
The road goes up the mountain from the skirts of Beirut all the way to Roumie village.
After the Express mountain highway was developed the traffic on this road is usually very low.
Unfortunately, the road wasn't as free on this run, so maybe an early sunrise run would be alot better.
The Car is a 1995 Mercedes W202 C36 AMG, the car has no CATs and should be making abt 290hp and revs to the 6900 redline.

Full Run up Roumie's New Mountain Express highway in a Mercedes C36AMG/// Location: Lebanon
A flat out drive up the new highway that takes you from the skirts of Beirut (sea level) all the way to Baabdet village some 1000m over sea level.
the run was done on a hot day and mid way thru the rears heated up so much i almost lost it twice.
The final section where i had the tank slapper, i haven't driven it much so i got caught by a corner that turned out to be tighter than what i had in mind :S. I had to brake hard to scrub off the speed and lost the rear grip at abt 135km/h followed by the usual "Oh Fuck" reaction.
