How to properly Sea foam your vehicle or gas engines
Sea foam is for any gas, diesel, biodiesel, and ethanol engines.
Sea foam can be used on
Inboard boat engines
Outboard boat engines
Sea foam cleans intake valves and pistons, cleans catalytic converter
odors, restores power and pickup, cleans carbon buildup, gives smoother
idle and cures hesitations and pings and removes moisture from oil and gas
Sea foam goes into your engine various way and is quite thorough
1/3 of the 16 fl oz bottle goes into your gas tank, 1/3 goes into your oil
cap, and 1/3 goes into your vacuum lines.
After you put Sea foam into your gas and oil start your engine and let
your vacuum lines sip it for a couple seconds at a time and then stick
vacuum line completely submerged in sea foam until the engine dies or
bottle is gone(NOTE: have a friend on standby to turn the engine off after
the engine chugs the sea foam)
And let the car sit for 5-30 minutes. 5 minutes is optimal. And start the
engine afterwards and let it idle for a minute or two and then rev it a
good amount. You will see lots of white smoke, if you are sea foaming a
car. Go drive it, best at night. The white smoke is usually thick and may
get you stopped by law enforcement officers so do it safely and the right

How Not To SeaFoam(TM) Your Car
Why do people think I'm redlining the engine? The highest it gets to is
3krpm, less than half way to redline. It sat at 4krpm at 70MPH on the
highway. Seafoam, when used correctly does wonders to clean out an engine.
This is not a reaction video, the engine does not explode or seize.
Me and my buddy having a SeaFoam(TM) party and he uses the wrong tube...
the entire $12 can drains through his air filter and onto the ground lol.
Sea foam engine cleaner in a Subaru WRX
A friend of mine asked me to tape him putting Sea Foam engine cleaner in
his 2004 Subaru WRX. I had to laugh because a neighbour walked over to ask
if he blew his turbo! Lot's of smoke
that's for sure!
DIY Fuel Injector Cleaning & Repair
This is the end result of a few hours of work and $60 because I didn't have
a 1/4" NPT tap in any of my kits. I could have done this for less-than
$40. The BG products were donated to the cause.
The REASON you want to use 20 PSI is precisely because of how peak-hold
type injectors work. The injector signal sends a 4v spike to open a
peak-hold type injector quickly, then maintains its open condition with
only 1 volt. Really, it's a current thing and there's a longer
explanation, but that's it in a nutshell. When you put the injector in its
operating pressure, it takes more than a AA battery to open it, but you
don't want to sustain that much current with a momentary switch and your
expensive injectors. This isn't in the video because this warning wouldn't
be as clear. Unless you can simulate the injector pulse precisely, don't
try it. 1.5v is enough to open it below its operating pressure. If you
open it and THEN apply pressure, you can flow as much pressure as you can
throw at it.
I don't discourage anyone from getting their injectors professionally
cleaned and balanced, but in my case, I didn't feel that was necessary.
In my first video, I thanked the seller for these injectors and happy to
know I got a great deal on high quality parts. My gratitude is even
greater because I had problems with them. It gave me an opportunity to
help others troubleshoot these kinds of problems when purchasing used
parts. A different idiot might have blamed the seller for peddling crap,
demanding their money back... but that would only be because they didn't
even know what they were looking at.
This particular idiot knows what high quality parts RC injectors are and
how to clean 'em. $250 + $60 still means I saved about $150 on a brand new
set. We all benefit because I bought these and I'm grateful! Let the good
How to Seafoam your Crown Victoria.
This is applicable for all 4.6L engines with the NON heated PCV valve on
the passenger side.
This is shown on a 2002 Crown Victoria.
I am just against putting this in either the crank case or the gas tank. I
don't like diluting this product in any fashion with either 5.5 qts of oil
or 19 gallons of fuel.
The next day the level in that tub was so close to the same I can't measure
DIY Rx8 Seafoam Cleaning
MAKE SURE ANNOTATIONS ARE ON.
This is a DIY of me seafoaming my Rx8. This is being done on my 2004 with
98k miles. This is the second time I've cleaned my 8, the first being at
70k. I hope this is helpful! All the instructions are on the annotations.
To make sure everyone's clear, you inject each port twice in order to
relieve some of the strain from the starter. Should be roughly 4 oz per
port, 8 oz total. You can pour the rest in the tank to help clean up your
