I've always wanted to make one, but I never really went to meets that often (maybe once or twice a month) and couldn't provide sufficient footage, and who wants to see a video of just 2 meets? SO, over the past two months I finally got around to going into areas like Beverly Hills on a much more frequent basis, particularly for dining (the food is too good in BH...) and also for the cars, of course. Between meets, street sightings and other events, I'd say that the Los Angeles region really holds it down. Another reason why I'm going to start making these videos is to really try to put LA on the car map. Sure, we've been recognized, but mainly by Statesmen, not quite by many Europeans yet. When most think of supercar hotspots, it's always the same list: Paris, London, Monaco. Well, LA is here and alive, do not underestimate this area!!! Starting off in central London at 6am, the supercars including MP4-12Cs (yes, plural), tonnes of Lamborghinis and many more gather before convoying towards Gurston Down hillclimb via some team stops and opportunities to regroup. It's at Gurston where you'll find what is probably the most insane car park you'll ever see, and here you can see the new Aventador flooring it from the line before a Veyron puts down with Launch Control! Then take a ride onboard a BMW M3 GTS before we set off on another convoy following a decatted Ferrari Enzo (this thing was LOUD!) and 2 (TWO!!!) Bugatti Veyrons. Parading through the crowds at Wilton House to cheers of "Rev it, rev it" we drive before the hypercar arrivals including a One-77 hitting the red line and more. It's not done yet! Then it's time for the Rev-off where the supercars take it in turn to measure their loudness on the decibel-metre; an LP560, Diablo, MP4-12C, Enzo and Koenigsegg Agera show you what they are made of before the cars head off after a beautiful day in the West of England. The unique Koenigsegg Revo, based on the CCR popped out of the Formula 1 course tunnel in Monaco in front of me, closely followed by a Pagani Zonda S. The two cars then parked together where a whole host of other epic cars would pass creating some unbelievable combos; the highlight of which must have been the Ferrari F40 and Mercedes SL65 Black Series; not to mention a Noble M600, GTA Spano and more. Just listen to the noise the Zonda makes before some others like the Hamann Hawk SLS Roadster, Mansory Stallone 599 GTB and the Aventador hit the tunnel! Marching into its seventh edition, Gran Turismo Polonia has become the most important super car event in Poland. It all started back in 2005, when Peter Ternström invited his fellow super car owners in Scandinavia to his second home country of Poland. Since then, no other event attracts so many super cars to Poland and the race track in Poznan each year.
