Installed my own puddle lights rather than spending over 200 on 2005.5 mirror housings. My friend Mark helped out.
Drilled 1" holes in lower plastic, epoxied clear plastic from CD case and siliconed the WHP-6LED modules in. They are wired in to the Footwell light circuit. We had to run a new wire from the mirror to inside the car. This required removal of the exterior door-skin, interior door panels, and footwell panels. - took all day ;)
MKV Jetta TDI Footwell Ambient Lighting
Here is the results of my revised footwell lighting project. I removed the individual LEDs that created bulls-eye effects on the floor, and installed Red and Blue wide-angle LEDs - one of each color per footwell. The blue color comes on when a door is opened, and the red come on with the headlights.
Also, for the front footwell areas I replaced the failed white LEDs with new "WHP" festoon type from superbrightleds.com

HID Reverse Light on my TDI
So I fried my LED reverse light from an unfortunate 'reverse polarity' whoops. Decided to toss an HID in for kicks. VERY BRIGHT! I Modified the bulb holder so the H11 4300k 35w HID bulb would sit correctly. Superglue holds the bulb into the holder while the siliconeRTV dries. :)
Dynabeams = Better Visibility

Mk5 Jetta Resonator Delete Sound Test
I got my Resonator Deleted. nothing else, Just strictly resonator. Car: 2008 Mk5 Jetta 2.5 It sounds much better imo. Its tastefully loud. Some call it the Mini-M5
Puddle Lights BMW 745i
Titanium Grey Metallic BMW 745i with a FULL AC SCHNITZER BODYKIT w/ROOF AND TRUNK SPOILERS. Puddle lights turn on by pressing Open and Close button on the remote. Puddle lights dim softly when turning ON and OFF.
Clean TDI
Just finished wiping the car down with SEM-Solv (paint prep) to remove all the bugs/tar/wax/sap. -Much easier and faster than Clay-Bar!
Then Waxed with Meguiar's NXT, Mother's back-to-black on the plastic, and polished the Exhaust tip. Turned out niiiice ;)
