Stepping aboard, it's almost 125 like -- light, low seat height, the engine
idle is subtle, big mirrors and good visibility etc.
Once you're moving along it's easy to control - light to turn in, agile,
forgiving -- smooth throttle response around town then when you get out to
the open road and stretch her legs the true colours come through -- plenty
of torque and certainly no slouch - she eases up to three figures without a
long stretch of road. Plenty fast enough to keep new bikers and those
Great confidence and feel from the front end thanks to it being so light,
just a tap of front brake has strong linear feedback. Big disc brakes make
it easy to wash off your speed and enter the corners smoothly. ABS is also
a big want in this category of bike, and well appreciated on the machine
considering that it's under £5k new!

characteristics evolving -- it's a beautiful thing...
The strong gearbox is idiot proof and simple to cycle through - typical of
Honda's over-engineered build quality -- you know where you stand when
buying a Japanese bike!
Overall the ride is confidence inspiring and fun. Great looks too. The only
small thing to say is that it would benefit from a gear indicator for those
new to two wheels, but otherwise it's a winner! ;-)
