Audi Quattro Concept official promo - narrated
More confirmation that Audi will be taking the Quattro model to production has surfaced recently.
According to a recent report the Quattro Concept was spotted with design-studio license plates on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. The car was being escorted to a photo shoot by the California Highway Patrol.
When questioned Audi employees let it slip that the car was, indeed, headed to production.

2012 Audi Q7 Test Drive & Luxury SUV Review

This is a heavy vehicle at over 5000 lbs. but it definitely does not feel that way. The Q7 delivers a nice tight driving experience with plenty of power. The base price for the 2012 Audi Q7 is $46,250 with the top of the line S-Line Prestige costing almost $60,000.
According to automotive analysts; the luxury SUV segment is dying. But it is nice to see that Audi has stayed true to its brand and still offers a 7-passenger luxury SUV. A luxury SUV should look as elegant and as sophisticated as possible. And the Q7 is one great looking machine. From the front you will notice Audi's beautiful and massive front grill. Also the LED headlights and running lights make quite a visual statement.
There are 2 different engines offered on the 2012 Audi Q7. The first is a turbocharged direct injected (TDI) 3.0 liter V-6 engine that makes 225 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. This engine also nets 17 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway which is at the top of the fuel economy scale for luxury SUVs. The other engine choice is a supercharged 3.0 liter V-6 engine making 333 horsepower and 325 lb-ft. of torque on the S-Line model. Power is transferred through an 8-speed automatic transmission which helps with fuel economy. This engine with more HP gets 16 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway.
The Q7 is also a capable vehicle off road or in tough weather conditions. The Quattro all-wheel drive system paired with many sophisticated technological advancements give the Q7 a real leg up on the competition. On the inside the Audi Q7 can seat up to 7 passengers. The Q7 is loaded with everything you would expect in a high end luxury SUV from Audi.
If you are an automobile enthusiast and you want more than just a truck for your SUV like the Escalade, then you should get behind the wheel of a 2012 Audi Q7. This is a tremendous German Sport Utility Vehicle.
