UPDATE: Car has now run a best of 9.82 at 135 mph in the quarter mile on 255 radials. 60' time of 1.32 on same 255 radials. Yes, it's still a street legal car that gets street driven. Gonna try some slicks on it now. All brightwork is now powdercoated in a special order color called "Bronze Burst". See my other videos for action shots of the car running 9 second 1/4 mile passes!
Here is my 78 Buick Regal fresh out of the paint booth. Still has a few pieces yet to be put back on, but it is looking good!!! The color is House Of Kolors Candy Tangerine over silver base coat. The car is street legal and runs mid 10s at 127 MPH in the quarter mile on drag radials with a naturally aspirated Chevy small block motor. Should be going quicker soon. HOK Kandy Regal drag racing! Street legal, 9 seconds on motor! The Corvette gets loose and ends up in my lane after sliding sideways. My first Hot Street victory! Mid 9s on 255/60-15 radials....1.32 60' time!!! Track not very good that day for any of the fast cars, and 90 degree weather to boot!
