426 hemi start and listen to hemi idle on 1971 Charger R/T
In 1971, Mopar decided to put a manual choke on the last year of the street hemi and this Charger R/T came with it. Sparing no expense, they used an old vent cable, turned it upside down, and put a red choke sticker on it. It is nestled under the dash with the airgrabber switch. 1966 Plymouth Satellite 383 V8 Mopar Muscle Car
I thought you'd like a look at this very slick 1966 Plymouth Satellite. This great example of Mopar muscle is still powered by it's original 383 CID engine and 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. It has newer red paint with black vinyl interior. The bottoms of the rear quarters have been replaced. Options include factory tachometer, AM/FM radio, CD player, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, and radial tires. I hope you find it interesting....thanks for watching!

This is a 426 Hemi built by Eddie Haines of Hemihaines.com This is initial firing for camshaft break-in. It will run at 2000rpm for twenty minutes. It has 80 lbs of oil pressure and 20 inches of manifold vacuum. during this process. After the 20 minute camshaft break-in happens, the idle will be lowered and the timing will be dialed in as well as the carburetors. These engines have quite a bit of punch to the Exhaust.
