This is a 1600-2/68 that has been married to a M5 E34 rear trailing arms and differential. Roll cage, gear box from a 728-78 (Getrag 262), a M10B20 that has been moved back a lot, classic VW/Mahle 90.5 pistons, Schrick 328/316 cam, 200 mm Kennedy VW clutch with a 3 puck sintered disc. Custom intake with flared end runners and a BMW V8 80 mm throttlebody. Custom Exhaust manifold with two separate 40 mm wastegates and a Holset HX55 turbo. VEMS engine management. MSD 6A CDI box, soon DIS-4. Aeromotive FPR, 4x Ford 1600 cc/min injectors and 3 fuel pumps for the E85 fuel.
During the Dyno session we experienced misfires at 7000 rpm and 1.95 bar, but still got 552 whp and about 560 Nm at that point. The engine wants to rev past 8000 rpm at lower Boost. We will fix the ignition system, add some Boost control (none in the video), and then return for more!

Tuning BMW E30 325 EVO 3 turbo
Tuning my friends BMW E30 EVO 3 on the road.
Power output is about 400 crank hp @ 1.1-1.2 bar.
- BMW M20B25 engine, Schrick 272 cam, O-ringed block, stock gasket and bolts
- Full tubular Exhaust manifold, 3" Exhaust, Holset HX35 55/60 #12 turbo
- Injectors are 800 cc/min @ 55-60% duty (on gasoline, ethanol in the future)
- VEMS standalone engine managment
- Bosch coilpack (wasted spark)

Soltvadkert test and tune 2009
I went for a visit to Soltvadkert in Hungary in November 2009. It was dark and wet, but it's nicer with a video than no video at all.

This is one of them, an E30 chassis and a big custom turbo engine consisting of an M30 block, S38 lightened special bottom-end, S38 24 valve head and Holset HX55 turbo. Driveline is E34 M5 and E32 7-series LSD diff, the car has 5-lug hubs and big brakes from E34 M5.
