HEMI vs Vortec (my truck is faster than your truck LOL!)
Everyone needs a truck to haul the Race-Car to & from the track, right?... well this is what happens when, the subject of "my truck is faster than your truck" pops up...LOL!!!
A 5.3 liter GMC 1500 X-tra Cab and a 5.7 liter 2500 Dodge Ram Reg Cab, go at it... both with Cat-Back Exhaust modifications...
(Note: that the GMC has a total of three 180lb. to 200lb. passengers and also has very large 285 series BFG All Terrain tires)
When these trucks were stock, they had an off-camera encounter and both trucks were fairly even, with the 5.3 GM a little stronger down low and the 5.7 Dodge a little stronger up top, but the 5.3 Vortec outperformed the 5.7 Hemi in a 1/4 mile distance, but the Hemi was making a come-back by the end of the race...

Recently we had the chance to test and preview the new Ram 1500 HEMI Cop Truck Chrysler's proving grounds in Michigan. And since Chrysler shoehorned a massive 390 HP HEMI into the black and white 4X4 we naturally had to see how fast it would go from 0-60 MPH.

the raptor averaged 15.9-16.2 all day i averaged 15.6 -15.8 this was my worst run of the day!
by the way the burnout wasnt to warm up the tires since they are street tires it was just to mess around cause a buddy was taking pictures
