Car physics (around 1:25 for weight transfer) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMwG0CyXMi4&feature=player_detailpage#t=87s
I'm posting this link because a lot of people were commenting that a car weight would not shift to the front when decelerating.
This video was taken on the A327 near Mont-Tremblant. It just happens that for this road trip I decided to put the GoPro on, just for fun, just to film the twist and turns on one of the few nice roads that we have in Quebec.
I normally drive carefully, as I am long past the age where I was reckless, but this time, with the influence of my friends we decided to be a little bit more "adventurous". Very stupid decision, I didn't know the road, new suspensions adjustments were made especially for track event planned for the week after. So, in short, it was a stupid decision to drive that fast, there are race tracks everywhere just for that purpose.
For those people that think they would do better, that their car can beat the crap out of the RX8 and the Boxster, how bad I am at driving and so on, don't bother leaving a comment. You probably have better ways to waste your time.
The main reasons why I decided to post this video are 1: Hey, I happened to capture a major accident, that's not something that happens too often and 2: Some lessons have to be learned the hard way. I did, so there is a chance that some people would understand that driving recklessly on a public road is totally stupid. It's dangerous for your life and the life of others. Even if you're the best driver on the planet and that you have the best car available, there is still a chance that you could make a mistake or simply that someone else would come the other way while you are crossing that nice yellow line in the middle of the road.
The car was totaled and replaced it with a SUV and two motorcycles (Ninja 650r and a Ducati Streetfighter)
EDIT: This is not bragging, it's just that I receive so many question about what replaced the RX8

RX8 Renesis...Ooops!
It was early... the tarmac was damp / green... the traction control was off... all these and more were the excuese provided for this little bit of over driving... just goes to prove even the professionals make mistakes!!! Mind you, they do say that if it doesn't go wrong occasionally... you're not trying hard enough!
This was one of a series of events arranged by Mazda UK for potential Mazda buyers....General public applied through dealers and were selected to attend...
The event was staged to be an advanced driving school for aspiring secret agents.... hence the theatrical piles of ammo cases, camoflage netting, and fireballs!
Lucky people got to be scared in a selection of different vehicles... These are RX-8s are Mazda Prodrive PZ8... a version available in the UK

RX-8 vs. 500 HP BMW M5 at VIR. Mazda RX-8 wins.
Second session on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Finally let me pass after 1-3/4 laps. Both the BMW driver and I are advanced, high-performance driving instructors.
The RX-8 is completely stock except for a B&B muffler and Hawk HP Plus pads on the front. It does not have traction control or stability control. Tires are original stock street Potenzas. No doubt the M5 is stock too, and this has more to do with weight than horsepower.
Camera is a Creative Labs Vado cheapcorder stuck to the windshield with a suction cup cellphone holder. Video was recorded upside-down due to the mount, and was transcoded to rotate it. Quality suffered.
