How to Paint a New Fender & Blend Color - Dodge Caliber
Visit http://www.refinishnetwork.com for more auto body repair information.
This is a dodge caliber that had the left front fender replaced. The
fender was first sanded with 400 grit paper and scuffed with a red scotch
pad. The door was scuffed with a grey scotch pad and sanding paste. After
being masked the first coat applied was a urethane 2 part sealer to the
fender. It provides a proper foundation for the paint, the black coating is
not sufficient. Without this primer/sealer the paint would stone chip and
be very brittle.
Next an orientation coat is applied to the blend door to provide an optimal
surface for color blending. This fills in the small scratches. Next three
coats of base are applied medium wet blending out a bit further with each
coat. Once the base is dry 2 coats of urethane clear are applied wet.

How to Remove a 2005 Ford Focus Fender
It is very easy to do this.
The tools you need:
Torx Bit (unsure of size)
Small Crescent Wrench
Wobble Socket Adapter
2-3 6" Socket Extension (or a single long one)
Remove the wheel and set it aside.
Remove the three Phillips screws from the middle part of the fender well.
On the lower front of the fender well there is a small bolt (unsure of the
size) I used the small Crescent Wrench to undo.
Just next to that there is a Torx bolt holding the fender well to the
bumper, remove that.
At the back of the fender underneath you will find a 10mm bolt and another
Phillips screw, undo the Phillips screw and the 10mm bolt
This will allow you to remove the fender well.
Remove the three 10mm bolts from the front of the fender that are attached
to the bumper.
There will also be a 10mm bolt holding the fender to the frame of the car
near the headlight, undo that.
Lower the bumper just an inch or two and you should be able to access the
headlight bolt going through the fender.
Head to the top of the fender and there you will see four 10mm bolts, three
that are painted and one that is black on the headlight, remove these.
Go now to the back of the fender behind the drivers door and there will be
a little yellow bolt cover, remove that with the Flathead Screwdriver and
remove the 10mm bolt.
Go back the under the fender and there is a foam shield just below where
the last bolt was removed and behind that foam shield is the final 10mm
bolt for this removal.
Remove the panel from the rear, push it forward and pull outward at the
same time and it should come off pretty easily.
How to Remove a Jeep Wrangler JK Front Fender
I am not a mechanic, I just like messing with vehicles. This is just a
video on how to remove the front fender of a 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK.
I would HIGHLY recommend buying some new moulding clips from
.htm (part number A20887) as you will probably break some the first time
you remove the fender.
Hope this was helpfull!
Miata Front Fender Replacement Change How To
This video covers the basics of changing out a front fender on a 1997 Mazda
Miata. This procedure is the same for all NA (1990-1997) and is similar
for the NB (1999-2004) Miatas. A shortcut was used where the forward bolt
under the bumper cover was removed with the bumper cover in place.
Loosened one side of the bumper cover and pulled it back using a wide
pry-bar. This is not the best way to do this but gets it done in a pinch.
The proper way to remove the front bumper is to remove the bumper cover
