Gotta have a little fun with the non-road worthy parts car! Can't get her running for a smoky burnout, and don't what to destroy it outright! The fender we hit was already beat and dented, we just helped it along a bit... No other body panels were harmed during the filming of this video.
1985 Pontiac Firebird Parts Car
She is a Trans Am, not just a Firebird. Gonna get all the usable stuff off
her, then either sell the hulk as a project to someone interested, or scrap
it by next weekend. Which ever comes first. The TPI and Trans are pretty
much sold already. If there's something you might want or need, either
send myself or kenhcook1 a message, we'll see what we can do for you.
Maaco Takes Advantage
I took my car to Tempe Maaco Auto Paint & Auto Body Repair on University
after a minor accident I was in and they tried to take me for $400+ extra
dollars. I asked for OME, Original Manufactured Equipment and they put
aftermarket parts on my car and charged me for the OEM parts! Good try
Installing KITT's wheels
Sure is starting to look like the TV car. Just need paint, the bumper,
install the engine, finish the interior...
December F150 update
Got this pile transfered to the bro's place last weekend, he's been
spinning wrenches on in before going to work each day, and hopefully it
won't be long till she's choochin' down the road!
Cheezy Wire Wheel Removal
We decided to spend a minute to figure out exactly how these crappy wire
wheels will come off, and wanted to see how the adapter is installed.
Pretty much exactly how I figured. Ken has had numerous calls on these,
but no one has come to look at them yet.
THE DAVIDSFARM DYNASTY

Back in early 2008 I had my 88 Fiero GT painted
1994 dodge ram before and after paint
this is my 1994 dodge ram truck before and after the new paint job. i
changed the rims and put 23 inch foose rims on it, changed the grille,
tail-lights and third brake light. i have more work to do on the truck but
tell me what you think.
the paint work was done by maaco in delaware for 600 and i am pleased with
the work they did especially for the price.
Chevy truck destroys compact car
1975 Chevy Truck drives over a 1985 ford escort at the end of the video.
Chevy Truck VS Ford Escort run 2.
Trucks need lovin', too! P1518
My '99 Ford F-150 V6 4.2L. Part of the fleet. While the rest are toys,
this one stays stock. Every time I turn the key, it starts. No matter the
weather, or what gets in my way, I get there un-scathed. It's a truck. I
paid $4500 cash for it when it was 5 years old. That was the last time I
spent anything on it. Greatest 87 Octane addition to the household, ever.
It's made so much possible!
it started mis-firing and threw a check engine light. P1518 Intake
Manifold Runner Control fault - stuck open. In this video, I changed all
the tune-up items and the misfire stopped, but what cleared the P1518 was
blowing the carbon out of it. I didn't film any of that, but here's what I
a half of a can of 2+2 (Gum Cutter) through the throttle body into the
intake with a "toothbrush" & a thorough cleaning
letting it sit overnight
starting it up on a warm day
spraying a whole can of 2+2 through the throttle body while it's running
driving with highway traffic (70-79 mph) for about 50 miles (first 5 miles
with overdrive off)
The code cleared itself.
Truck runs great now. Getting better mpg's. Seafoam through the throttle
body would probably do the job just as well if not better. Would smoke a
heckuva lot more, though. IMRC failures are actually uncommon, but they
can happen. Mine had not. This is just what worked for me to fix this
After all that mess it got a full tank of 93 octane for the first time
ever, I think? Oh, and I washed it for the third time. It's a truck.
A dealership would have charged over a grand to clean the intake, replace
the IMRC solenoids, and change upper and lower intake manifold gaskets.
But since my IMRC fix cost me $5, I made sure a trusted small business
owner got that money instead by spending those savings on tires and it
worked out best for everybody. Last I checked, Ford's doing just fine.
They built one hell of a truck! Don't forget your favorite hard-working
small business owners.
