68 Mustang VS 97 Cobra Mustang Mustangs racing at night.
The '97 cobra Mustang was stock to the best of my knowledge. it had a 4.6 w/ a 5 speed.
The '68 has a 302 with GT-40Y heads, e-303 cam, a holly 650 and electronic ignition. with a 5 speed

this is my 68 Mustang resto PROJECT it is a project so dont hate its not finished moment the inside motor and underside of the car is done but it needs paint pretty bad , the motor has a wiesco rotating assimbley the block is bored .30 over it has ported canfield 195 heads with a 3 angle valve job it has a lunati bracket master 2 cam this ones specs were 242 dur 512 lift 110 lobe sep it currently has a smaller cam in it its still a Lunati bracket master 2 but its much smaller , it has comp cam push rods 100th longer summit stage 2 intake with a holley 670 street avenger carb it has proform roller rockers dave myers built trans 8 inch rear 3500 stall . this was filmed with a brokin muffler thats why there is a pop noise (its fixed now) and its ideled way up it was littlery the 2nd time i started the car with that cam in it so dont hate . its just a nasty little street car

I ran out of gear(4.11 gear, 26" Hoosier, max engine rpm is 6700rpm and thats pushing it) and had to let off about 300 ft before the 1320ft mark and had to let off the throttle and get back on it and let off and get back on it a 3rd time. I got asked to leave after this race because i don't have a cage yet.

Me racing a 68 Mustang 351w i beat him by two cars not to sure what was wrong with the Mustang lol I didnt get water on the left slick so it hoped around a bit lol I have a front mounted Intercooler, HKS bov, custom intake, Exhaust cut out, M/T et streets. my cylinder head and lower intake manifold were messed up at the time still pulled though:)
1968 Mustang Dyno
68 Mustang 390FE bored, fast efi, edelbrock aluminium heads, solid roller cam/rockers, 5 speed tremec, 9 inch 31 spline 3:50 gears. This tune was done by John at the Horepower Ranch in Hobart Wa. to sync the Nitrous with the efi computer. Jetting still needs correcting ( he didn't have right size) and should get us up to 500hp. Can't wait for the next dry day........
