How Long will the Prius Battery Last? - Jon Lancaster Toyota
What's the life of the Hybrid Battery in the Prius? This video shows an '05 Prius with 209,940 miles on the odometer still running on the origional battery and showing an average MPG of 48. The owner bought it from me new and traded it today for a new '10 model. The car ran and drove as if it had 60,000 miles on it. There are no indications of wear or a weak battery as the monitor still shows a strong charge in the battery while driving.
