When it comes to a classic car with some muscle under its hood, this 1958 Ford 300 Business 2 door sedan is truly one of a kind! This beautiful Ford sports an extremely powerful and well built 428CI Cobra Jet motor from a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 and is mounted up to a powerful and smooth shifting 5spd manual transmission that pulls strong. Stomp on the gas and feel the rear wheels break loose and give you the best burnout of your life. This baby is totally detailed and mainly built for show but it will go when you need it to!
Walking around this stunning 1958 Ford 300, you notice the near flawless Torch Red and Colonial White paint work and the laser straight body that is totally rust free. The chrome, stainless steel and all pot metal is in fantastic condition and the body panel fitment is stellar. After the complete restoration that this car underwent, the under-carriage is just as nice and clean as the top side of this beautiful, yet powerful ride. Sitting on polished Weld Racing aluminum wheels which are wrapped in new radial tires, 225/75/15 up front and wide Mickey Thompson Sportsman radials out back, the Ford 9" rear end with 4.11 gears puts that power to the ground and enables you to do all the white knuckle driving you can endure. Under its hood rests an extremely well built and powerful 428CI Cobra Jet engine that is ready to take you on your next driving adventure. An MSD 6AL Ignition, MSD Distributor, MSD Blaster 3 Coil and Spark Plug Wires ensure that this powerful beast starts and stays strong throughout its life. Chrome braided lines flow through the highly detailed engine bay and the polished aluminum Ford Cobra LeMans finned valve covers and the chrome air cleaner help finish off the show/road worthy or drag strip ready motor. The aluminum radiator with polished chrome over-flow tube keeps this beast running cool even in traffic on those hot summer days. Hooker ceramic coated long tube headers which are mounted to full 3" dual Exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers give it the performance and the unmistakable and head-turning sound that is simply music to one's ears. Front and rear sway bars give this '58 Ford 300 a great handling ride and the front disc brakes with rear drums bring this beast to a confident stop every time.
Stepping inside reveals a completely redone interior that still shows as if this beauty just rolled off the Long Beach California assembly line. A new ABC interior kit wrapped the front folding bench seat in Gray cloth and vinyl and the gray headliner gibes it the fresh, just off the showroom floor look. With no back seat, which is how this bad boy came from the factory, Vintage heat and air, the steering column mounted Autometer Sport Comp tach with shift light and the Water and Oil vital sign gauges mounted under the pristine dash, the next time you take this beast on your weekend drive or to your local cruise in or car show, smiles, compliments and trophies will be what you bring back home with you. So come on in to our huge climate controlled indoor showroom and grace your eyes upon this gorgeous 1958 Ford 300 and the next place it will call home will be back home in your garage.

59&58 Fords
Take a look at these two classic beauties from Ford. The first is a 59 Galaxie sunliner hardtop retractable. The second is a rare 58 3 tone Fairlane coupe from Texas,as you can see from the license plate. Weather wasn't kind to us that day at the show,so unfortunately the roof on the 59 had to be closed. Filmed at the American motoring show of 2009. Sunday 5th April 2009 at the Flemington racecourse in Flemington Victoria(inner Melb) Australia. Check my other videos for more great ol' classic cars.
1958 Ford Fairlane 500 Two Door Hardtop Road Test - Sold Sold Sold
This 58 For Fairlane 500 two door hardtop is an original black car with the Big Block FE 332 four barrel carburetor. Sold new in California and has the "Black Plates" on it. it was bought by a friend of mine in 2006. He and I went to look at another car in an Oakland but he liked the Ford so he bought it. The car needed a restoration and his wife's father was a bodyman, so it was a family project. The project went home and they bought new sheet metal and parts, welded in new floor pans and rockers. The drivers door was replaced and is not adjusted. All the other original sheet metal was black so we expect it is original to the car. The family had some problems, so the car never got finished. I brought the car to my place and bolted trim back on so you can see how it looks. It has a new 2 1/2 inch Exhaust system, the new sheet metal, front and back seat are recovered with tuck and roll. It runs great, Original Radio Works!
This one is on the way to the Midwest. Enjoy!

1957 FORD FAIRLANE 500 TWO DOOR CLUB SEDAN
Fords for 1957 were totally redesigned. Not since 1949 had Ford's received such a facelift. Styling touches for '57 had the car ride lower to the ground by 4 inches and many designs were incorporated from the Mystere show car. In fact, Ford styling was so accepted that they even outsold the fifties icon '57 Chevy with total 1.67 million cars built. Most 57 hardtops were four doors making this two door example more rare. This particular Ford has the 262 c.i.d. V-8 engine one of a choice of six powerplants either in 6 cylinder of 8 cylinder versions. Except for the red over white exterior paint, this top of the line Fairlane 500 is in original condition. The interior is virtually like new from the original seat uphostery to the headliner. Check out the gold anodized spear that runs along side of the car. Fords from the mid fifties had the rear opening hood feature.
