It shows in excellent condition inside and out for it's age and brings back memories of riding down the causeway blaring your 1980's hair metal off your newly bought cassette (yes I said cassettes) in this beauty of a sports car made by a reputable Japanese automaker. This car runs like a beauty. Boasts 135 K original miles. Has the original T-ops, hood air scoops, fantastic and luxurious top-grain and suede leather interior that is literally as new and taken care as when this beauty rolled off the assembly line back in '83. The car is a 5 speed manual transmission with reverse, has a turboBoost making this baby keep up with the modern sports cars of today. Has impeccable working internals (mechanically...inside and out). The gauges work flawlessly and the stereo brings back memories of an audiophiles dreams...true stainless exterior, has volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader stereo knobs...not some clunky plastic ones, but actual metal that bring back that classic era of the late 70's/early 80's when stereos where made to last!!! To top the stereo off, it's an original issue cassette deck, that guess what, actually works!!! The car is a hatchback and one that is a nice as could be. 1982 280ZX for sale. Runs strong - used engine installed by ERADATZ Motorsports about 5 years ago. 170,000 on odometer. Needs cosmetics - used to be daily driver for over 10 years. Only driven on weekends to attend church.
Love this car and hate to let her go but I'm eager to find a new owner that will give her the care she deserves.

Crappy iPhone quality, This is my Project 1981 280zx turbo, started as a stock L28E & swapped in a L28ET off a 1983 280zx turbo, few upgrades: T3/TO4E AiResearch turbo, 87 Z31 300zx turbo ECU & MAF, homemade intake, stock Exhaust, 3" muffler, 83 280zx turbo Borg Warner T-5 tranny with Steeda Tri-Ax short shifter, stock R200 3.90, CV axles, 280zx turbo rear brakes.

280ZX Turbo vs 300ZX Twin Turbo Dragway
2007 Midwest Z Heritage Show. Brown County Dragway, Nashville, IN. 1/8 mile strip. After the runs, the driver of the 300ZXTT found one of the O2 sensors' wires was cut through completely.
