Równa jazda i meldowanie się na metach wszystkich odcinków pierwszej, sobotniej pętli załogi Jaroslav Orsak/ Karel Vajik sprawiło, iż czeski duet jadący w Mitsubishi Lancerze Evo IX wjeżdżał na serwis w Mladej Boleslav na 7 pozycji. Niestety, drugie przejazdy prób: Bzi i Smrzkova, zepchnęły Orsaka na 12 lokatę. Ostani Oes przed kolejnym serwisem - Sumburk II, zakończył się dla załogi nr 9 w początkowej części tej "RZ-ty" w strasznie wyglądający sposób. Cały wypadek uwieczniła nasza kamera. Na szczęście załodze nic się nie stało i po dłuższym spadaniu w dół skarpy, wyszła z poobijanego samochodu o własnych siłach!

Formel 2 Henry Surtees tödlicher Unfall 19.07.2009
Beim Unfall eines Konkurrenten hatte sich das Hinterrad des Rennwagens gelöst, sprang über die Strecke. Surtees junior passierte mit Tempo 210 die Unfallstelle. Das ca. 10 Kilo schwere Hinterrad traf ihn mit voller Wucht am Helm. Er hatte nicht den Hauch einer Chance.
