HRDC TC63 mk1 Cortina GT racing vs mk2 jags and Warwick GT
The Inaugural HRDC TC63 race at Snetterton, for Appendix J series production touring cars from 1960-1963. If this race is anything to go by the series should take off beautifully next season . . . . watch this space. WE can't wait.
a broken alternator pulley spoilt our race, a podium was on the cards we reckon. For those unawares, the lead yellow car is a Warwick GT ( Peerless with a Buick V8) and behind us where Mercedes, Alfa's, Ovlov, Anglia and other family favourites, next season promises a fleet of minis, Anglias and even a Studebaker. Ding dong, bring it on!
'TERMINATOR' MARK 1 FORD CORTINA HOT ROD, A SEVENTIES ORIGINAL
This sixties Cortina was modified in the seventies, it has been stored away in a nice dry garage for the last 17 years hardly turning a wheel, Probuild American went along to help Clint get her running and mobile so she can go back on the road and do a few shows and maybe go to Santa Pod Raceway for a few runs up the strip. Apparently she used to run low 13's, get her in a better state of tune and maybe we will see if she still has it!
Still wearing the original blue metalflake paint sprayed on by Kirk, it still looks pretty good for a forty year old paint job.
