2010 Lexus ES commercial featuring Windshear
Windshear, the first rolling road wind tunnel in the U.S., is now being featured in a Lexus commercial airing throughout the U.S.
When Lexus needed a way to demonstrate its 2010 ES model, it found the solution at Windshear. The commercial's premise is based on the idea that the average person spends 40,000 hours driving, and that every hour should be as great as the first. It shows various scenes in the background, before revealing the Lexus ES riding along the Windshear rolling road. It was filmed during a three-day production in July.

Lexus ES Ad - "Cards" Behind the Scenes
To show how the vibration-reducing features of the ES create one of the smoothest vehicles anywhere, Lexus wanted to put the ES in the most fragile and unstable environment imaginable. So going a few steps beyond the proverbial house of cards, they set out to build an entire city around and on top of the vehicle.
If you want to create an enormous house of cards, there's only one guy to turn to—Bryan Berg. A self-taught artist, Bryan has been stacking cards since he was eight years old. He set his first Guinness World record when he was 17, with a tower measuring 14 feet, six inches tall. He has since set six more world records; his current record-holding structure towered over 25 feet.
