Sound Deadener Heat Test Comparison
Sound Deadener Heat Test Comparison
In this video you will see a heat test comparison between the following deadeners:
Peel & Seal, eDead 45, eDead 80, FatMat 50 mil, Dynamat Extreme, Second Skin Damp, Second Skin Damp Pro, Audio Technix 60, Audio Technix 80, and RAAMmat BXT II
Peel & Seal slid a little more than 1/2", FatMat slid 1/4", the "aluminum" layer on eDead wrinkled up, all the other samples look great. I got a huge headache from the Peel & Seal and FatMat. Both smelled absolutely horrible. I do believe that the "aluminum" layer on eDead is actually plastic.
Peel and Seal
well i wanted to try it so i did, and just the little bit i put on there did make a difference, and i like it, im soon going to do my roof next

Dynamat 2007 Lexus ES350 In Depth Before and After Review
I bought a bulk pack of Dynamat (36 sq ft) for my 2007 Lexus ES350 to use in the trunk and the rear deck. This video goes through several songs before and after dynamat as well as the tapping demonstration where I knock on the trunk before and after. NOTE: Dynamat will NOT take all your rattles away as you can see, what it will do is reduce them greatly and increase the sound from your bass instead of it being lost through the trunk and rattling. I highly recommend it for anyone with a subwoofer, my car rattles much less than it used to, especially in the interior, my side view mirrors even shake less just by what I did in the trunk. Also, 36sq ft of dynamat was not enough for the WHOLE trunk but a good part of it, and it is true that if you double or triple layer it it will perform much better than a single layer. I will be uploading an installation video sometime soon so be on the lookout for it. I hope this video helps, I wanted to try and make the best dynamat video of before and after that I can, so ratings and comments are always appreciated! Thanks everyone!
Peel N Seal (sound deadened my trunk)
I am a huge fan of Dynamat but I was looking for a more cost effective solution to sound deaden my trunk. I bought a 8" x 33 ft roll of Peel N Seal ($30) from Rona but I am sure you can find this stuff at any home hardware stores. The results are impressive and I am very pleased with my install. The car is a 2010 Toyota Corolla.
1994 Nissan Sentra - Sound Deadening
In this video, I went through the process with help of my best friend, to install sound deadener in the rear my car. Peel & Seal is meant for roofing and gutters, but this is a cheap alternative to stuff like PHATMAT, SecondSkin, DYNAMAT and others.
In my experience, it has helped reduce the majority of the rattle and flexing from my subs.
I also want to note to those that say it smells...it doesn't smell at all. In Oregon, it can get cold and then hot at random times and it has still stayed in place and without an odor.
I had to use three rolls to just do the back. I will make another video of doing the ceiling. I still get some roof flex and annoying rattle from it :(
I wanna give shoutouts to my best friend Austin for helping out and EXO for the tip for this.

Dynamat: Before and After
I Dynamatted my trunk and doors, and what an improvement. Thanks for watching. BTW-I chose this song because it was one of my favorite songs at the time. If you don't like it, too bad. Go make your own video. (and the cheapest place I've found so far is amazon just in case you're wondering ;)
I disabled comments because too many losers without a life kept leaving stupid comments. GTH. :p
