The Terrain comes packed with tons of technological features. The base model 2012 GMC Terrain starts at $25,480. There are 2 different engine options. The first is a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that features DOHC and VVT. Total power for this engine is 182 horsepower and 172 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 22 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway. The larger 3.0 liter V-6 engine has 264 horsepower and 222 lb-ft. of torque with fuel economy coming in at 17 MPG in the City and 24 MPG on the highway.
