MORE SOLSTICE COUPE @ INSIDELINE.COM:
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=142586?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..4.*
Our hopes were high following the debut of the 2009 Pontiac Solstice Coupe at the 2008 New York Auto Show last year. We had not forgotten the ergonomic shortcomings of the Solstice. Nor had its functional limitations slipped our minds. It was mechanically the same curvaceous Solstice that had made us swoon in 2006. Only now it had a bitchin' hardtop.
So here we stand again with hearts racing and gaze locked on the 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. The GXP offers you 260 horsepower from its turbocharged Ecotec inline-4 and big tires to put the power to good use, so it's a lot more serious than the standard Solstice coupe. Its angled roof gives the coupe an angry, menacing stance unmatched by the roadster. This is the car we secretly want to like. In the back of our minds, we hope it's different from the 2006 Pontiac Solstice we lived with for a year in our long-term fleet.
And perhaps it's a measure of the intensity of this hope that our disappointment is so devastating.
Cooler than Scion? Nissan Cube S Full Test

If you want to find out everything you need to know about the 2009 Nissan Cube S, just pull into In-N-Out Burger.
We're living in a drive-thru world, and the Cube is scaled to suit; a little self-contained habitat where life comes to you in a warm paper bag pushed through the driver side window. There in the line at In-N-Out, you've got a panoramic view of your world — neon colors, flashing lights and the big board with all your dining options. There's no reason to hurry, since you're already where you want to be.
Best of all, there's always someplace to put your stuff. A bin, a box, a shelf, a slot with bungee cords. A sliding, folding, tumbling collection of seats that you put together like a puzzle. You never fumble around when you're trying to put something down, because the perfect spot always magically comes to hand.
The fact that the 2009 Nissan Cube S is self-propelled is just a kind of unexpected bonus.

Pontiac Solstice
WebRidesTV's stunning Amber Goetz takes us for a look at Pontiac's new sports car, the Pontiac Solstice. The Solstice was introduced in 2004 at the NAIAS, or North American International Auto Show, and began production in 2005. You may get the car confused with other GM models as it shares the same chassis as the Saturn Sky or the European Opel GT.

Saturn Sky Red Line Review
Last year General Motors debuted two beautiful new roadsters, the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky. Both cars received praise for their inspired design, but for many, the hard lines and chiseled angles of the Sky were thoroughly captivating. But beauty isn't everything. A car like the Sky needs to drive as well as it looks, and that's where the Redline comes in. General Motors has taken the well-behaved Sky and injected it with some serious performance.
Under the hood, GM has fitted the Sky Redline with a 2.0 liter, turbo-charged Ecotec engine that cranks out a whopping 260 horsepower and 260 pound feet of torque. That's a lot of horses for this little roadster, in fact, GM claims that pound for pound, this is the most powerful engine in its lineup. And it shows, especially off of the line, where the Red Line jumps to 60 miles per hour in just 5 and one-half seconds. But that's not all, the Sky Redline is also ready to corner with a four-wheel independent, performance tuned suspension, 18 inch alloy wheels, and in case you get in trouble, GM's Stabilitrak system is there to help get you back on track.
