2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT - Engine issues

First guess was connecting rod bearing.. Now we're leaning more toward a snapped rod... We'll find out once we drop the oil pan... Anyway, this vid is for a friend that may be interested in the car.. Let the garbage talk begin! LOL

2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT - Engine issues - Part 2
Ok.. We've dropped the oil pan and found all sorts of pieces of the connecting rod and clip for the piston pin.. While looking up into the block we've found the bottom portion of the rod still connected to the crankshaft.

Grand Prix engine problem! HELP PLEASE!!
My 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3800 Series non supercharged. Theres an obvious problem, I'm not sure if its from the engine or transmission. :S Already changed oil and ran an OBD trouble code on it (no codes appeared). Any suggestions?

Grand prix problems wont turn on.
I took it to 3 mechanics and could not find the problem. is not the starter, altenator, nor the fuel pump. The only way it starts some time and I mean sometimes is when I jump the car for a couple of seconds or also by opening the doors from the passanger door. Help please what could of be.

HOW TO CHANGE THE SUPERCHARGER OIL ON A GM 3800 SERIES II V6
just a quick instructional video of how to properly change the Supercharger oil on your 3800... some people say just to re-top off your Supercharger, but many owners as well as a good number of master mechanics ive talked to about it that worked on these cars, they say to full out replace it by draining it and putting new oil in, simply because if you know anything about oil youd know that it breaks down over time especially because of heat and friction. new oil handles it better and keeps it properly lubricated and cooler temperature. old oil will be dirty, maybe burned, and possibly ineffective if broken down enough over time. which method you trust is up to you, im not saying either method is right or wrong, this one just makes more sense to me, therefore thats the one i do on my car so we made the instructional video for this, if you choose simply to top off your oil, do all the same steps just dont empty the old oil first.

My Grand Prix GT....Stage 2
Hey everybody and thanks for watching. This is my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with the L67 top end. All mods are included in the video!

2000 Grand Prix 3800 series 2 head gasket update #1
Problem was not a head gasket. It was the lower intake gasket. But while the engine is tore apart figured I'd go ahead and rebuild the upper end.

Grand Prix GT
Grand Prix GT 2000: This is my 2000 Grand Prix GT. It has performance gauges, two alpine type r subwoofers, and two MTX jackhammer amps. CDA-9886 alpine deck. No mufflers, straight pipe. Sorry about the audio, the car is actually extremely loud but the camera audio sucks. Alpine type s replaced back speakers. AVS headlight covers.

Ryan's 2000 Grand Prix GT without mufflers
Halfway through the muffler swap, Ryan asked if he could just start it for a sec. What a second!

1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT
just a little vid of my 99 grand prix gt. Sorry its not the best quality and is kinda shaky. It currently has blacked out headlight covers, and I am thinking of getting blacked out taillight covers, tinted windows, Exhaust, and maybe a Supercharger if I get enough money. Any other comments/suggestions to improve it/make it faster?

Grand Am Rod knock and missfire
IMPORTANT: some people seem to be confused the purpose of the video was to only show that the misfire and know where present not a diagnosis. the cause of the issues are unknown but my best guess was the LIM leak was going on for a wile i received the car none running on the back of a tow truck. the misfire also looked to be present before i got the car and the cause was a burnt Exhaust valve. hope the clears things up so you do not look silly in the comments here is a video for a friends dad to show the knock and misfire EDIT: This car has been fixed and sold as of 1/20/2011

Pontiac Grand Prix transmission problem
Sorry for the bad video quality. (cell phone) This is my Pontiac Grand Prix SE on Sep. 12, 2010. The transmission had seen its last days and this is what it sounds like when your reverse is NO longer in service. (the transmission has been replaced months ago. Its now the engine getting replaced. Ill have to get that one on here. Ive already replace the engine but still have somethings to work out on it.)

Grand Prix GTP knock after machine shop mistake
Payed a machine shop to replace a piston in the car after valve to piston contact, also caused by the machine shop. They had to remove the rod from the crank, and were instructed to replace the bearing if need be. They didn't and a day later and 85 miles later, it was knocking. I am an ASE certified mechanic, not some backyard billy bob mechanic. I build race engines, but choose not to do short block rotating assyembly due to the liability. I have built tons of these engines, and this was the first to have a knock. I know it was not my fault, because the cylinder knocking was also the cylinder they took apart. The reason the damn valve hit the head, was because they didn't machine my new bronze valve guides enough, and a valve stuck in the head during engine break in.
