This is my first nitro R/C car. I'm just messing around getting the feel for it. I already wrecked and broke it once (stripped turnbuckles, shattered knuckle, bent dogbone, etc.) so I'm trying to get used to it before my new car comes in. It should be here any day now, so look for new vids. It's the newer HPI Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ with the T3.0 engine.
Contour+ [Plus] 1080p test onboard Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ RC car, BMW E92 M3 GT2
This turned out to be a good durability test of the Contour+ HD camera. It got hit by the car twice (my poor driving skills) and fell off the car another two times (my poor duct tape skills). Apart from cosmetic damage to the exterior, the camera is no worse off. The files did not corrupt, the access panel did not open, and the camera obviously did not stop recording. I wanted to use the waterproof case to help protect it from this kind of damage, but it blocks out too much noise.
The car is an HPI Racing Nitro RS4 3 Evo+.
Kyosho Inferno GT2 Race Spec
The Kyosho Inferno GT2 Race Spec is the culmination of over 20 years experience in a category it created, and its performance and features are unmatched.
The Race Spec features a long wheelbase chassis that includes a forward weight bias for superior steering response over the short wheelbase version it replaced. The shaft drive system is low maintenance, and it's fitted with a new high-performance transmission developed in the multiple World Champion Evolva.
A new KE25 engine brings more power to the GT2 that ever before, and it features a standardized rear Exhaust system that accepts any racing Exhaust system. A lightweight aluminum header and polished tuned pipe are included, which are designed to extract maximum performance from the engine.
The Kyosho KT201 radio system is factory installed in the GT2, which is a 2.4 GHz system that features 15 model memory, digital trims, sub trims, EPA, dual rate, and a host of other features that are usually reserved for aftermarket radio systems. Metal gear servos complete the package.
The GT2 Race Spec comes with one of four bodies, three of which are scale masterpieces of modern racing. The Aston Martin DBR9 and the Corvette C6R are legends in modern racing, and the Audi R8 is ready to take it's place in history. The final option is the Ceptor, which is a Kyosho factory original that saved the cost of licensing, giving us a more cost effective alternative to the more popular factory licensed versions.

My custom RS4 3 Evo. Brand new, had it for about a week. Custom painted body, lights, tires/wheels, racing clutch, deanodized chassis...
Working on a few performance mods now, nothing too major. Also have a custom Jato 3.3, when I get some time, Ill post that vid too..
