The General Lee Video
*UPDATE*
I was just there again in January 2012, and saw that they've move the car across the street... It's now sitting on the ground at a street corner on the other side of Hwy 11W from where it originally was at the store. It looks like they gave it a paint job too, and restored all the faded colors. Now there's an old wrecker truck sitting on the ramps in front of the store where this used to sit.
Stopped in Churchill, TN and saw one of the original General Lee stunt cars from the Dukes of Hazard. It's pretty beat up. It's neat to see one of my childhood icons up close and personal!
The General Lee - Behind the Build of "Lee 1"
http://www.themusclecarplace.com
This is an impromptu interview that we did with Jim Shine, one of the people that coordinated the restoration of "Lee 1," the very first Dukes of Hazzard General Lee car. The video was shot at the 2012 Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction 1 day before the car was sold.
Jim described every detail of the restoration, from the crushed frame rails the the use of cheap Acme orange paint over the original copper. He also revealed why every General Lee has vinyl roof trim (but no vinyl roof) and how THIS General set the template for every General ever made.
The video is hosted by me, Robert Kibbe of The MuscleCar Place Podcast.
John Schneider awaits final bid on General Lee
John Schneider decided to sell his beloved and famous 1969 orange Dodge Charger made famous as "General Lee" on his Dukes of Hazzard TV show and as "Traveler" in our movie COLLIER & CO.--HOT PURSUIT!.
At the moment of this video, the bidding hit nearly $10 million, making the car the second highest vehicle auction price ever, and it became the highest bid ever on eBay.
This is video of John as he awaited the close of this tense auction.

DukesFest 2008 "Good Ol' Boys"
This is a DukesFest 2008 video I made using video me and my Dad took at DukesFest in Atlanta Georgia. It was the 30th anniversary of the show. John Schneider(Bo Duke), Tom Wopat(Luke Duke), Catherine Bach(Daisy Duke), Byron Cherry(Coy Duke), James Best(Rosco P. Coltrane), Sonny Shroyer(Enos Strate), Rick Hurst(Cletus Hogg), Ben Jones(Cooter Davenport), Don Pedro Colley(Sheriff Little), some of the original stuntmen, Adam West(Original Batman), and Lee Meriwether(Original Catwoman) came and signed autographes between those two day's at DukesFest. They jumped a Rosco Patrol car, wrecked Sheriff Little's Patrol car, and jumped the General Lee before the Parade of the General Lee's! The "Hazzard County Boys" sing this "Good Ol' Boys."
