98 Eclipse GSX Testing the New NGR Type-S Blow Off Valve
Test Phase II with the NEW NGR Type-S Blow off Valve on the 98 Eclipse GSX. We will start selling this Blow off Valve on eBay to start off and see how sales go. So far response has been pretty good, hopefully once it's on sale, responses will pick up more. We have constructed this NGR Type-S BOV because no one has attempted to fix what the original Greddy Type-S failed at. Although we did like how the Greddy Type-S made the incredible whistle, it dealt with too many problems, Eventually they discontinued it. We didnt just fix the flaws, but we made this NGR Type-S perform even better than the original. There is no modding you need to do (such as 1 spring mod, or teflon tape everything) We are also using a new type of diaphragm which can hold any Boost level with no leaks. The original leaked and teared easily and replacement was over $70! Everything was way overpriced. We have come with a solution to all that! Details about BOV: We were deciding about what color top to choose, we decided to keep the purple top with a fully polished bottom. We might add more colors such as Red and Blue depending on sales. It also comes with everything needed to install: High quality gasket (No cheap knockoff type that others sell), Long hose, bolts, washers, tee, and instructions on how to install. Greddy Type S BOV on Genesis Coupe
Cruising around with the Greddy Type S. I fixed my Boost leak and now it is much louder and far more satisfying to drive with. I should have kept the camera on longer because there was a cavalier next to me that was bomping loud music and wanted to race me. It's funny seeing a ricer rev up and drive away. They just look so slow....
