Turbo R6 Preview
2003 Yamaha YZF-R6, turbocharged, TD04L-13T turbocharger from a stock 2004 subaru WRX, custom intake manifold, custom turbo manifold, custom oil supply and sump system, power commander III, oem injectors, autometer Boost gauge, custom Boost controller, custom intake plumbing, custom custom custom!
ordering a suction mount to make a nice tank-mount video of it running. Was Dyno tuned last year before the oil system was re-worked, made 135 WHP. 9psi.
Last year best run was 11.52@135mph. (yes, the time sucks, you try keeping this thing down without an extension or lowering kit, or both.)

Also, don't ask me for tips or how-to's. I woln't respond, If this video is not clear enough indication of what I have done here for you, you probably shouldn't be attempting this in the first place.
Turbo R6 (part 1)
OH YEAH BOYS. turbocharged my 2003 Yamaha YZF-R6... It is equipped with a TD04L-13T turbocharger with custom-fabbed Exhaust and intake manifolds.
SHE IS NOT 100%. DON'T EXPECT ME TO DO WHEELIES ON A BIKE WITH A TANK NOT ATTACHED, I DONT EVEN WANT TO HEAR IT.
Oh, and it was all cheap labor/minor parts purchases. (blah blah you shoulda bought a liter bike blaaaah.)
Turbo R6 short ride
Just took a short ride around the block to try out my new camera mount.
This is a turboCHARGED 2003 YAMAHA R6. All custom work performed by myself, my brother, and a friend.
It is a custom one-off and NOT a kit. Uses a TD04L-13T turbocharger, makes 135.8whp @ psi
Turbo R6 first startup
Building up a 1999 yamaha R6 turbo. At the moment charge pipes are not connected. The inlet is restrictive at higher RPM without them limiting my rpms. mostly was a test for how well the turbo will spin at idle.
