Audi A4 (2008-2011) review - CarBuyer

Full Review at: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a4/saloon/review Thanks to its impressive build quality and carefully designed interior, the A4 feels every bit as special as rivals from BMW and Mercedes. With light, accurate steering, plus excellent performance from all of the engines, the Audi A4 is a comfortable, unfussy car to drive. Four-wheel drive is standard with the A4's more powerful engines, while front-wheel-drive versions are best for low running costs. Economy-minded drivers should go for the 2.0 TDIe diesel. Mercedes C-Class review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mercedes/c_class/saloon/review Mercedes-Benz has given the C-Class a comprehensive overhaul, and the latest version of the popular saloon is better than ever. The more aggressive new grille and bumpers help it stand out, while inside, the dash has been totally redesigned, with better materials, a modernised layout and a slick new integrated media screen. The very latest face-lifted Mercedes C-Class has over 2,000 new components and whilst it looks familiar on the outside, the changes are most noticeable in the cabin. This raft of improvements make the C-Class a serious contender in the premium compact saloon class and a worthwhile competitor to the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4.

New Audi A4 review - CarBuyer
Read our full review of the Audi A4 here: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a4/saloon/review With a wide range of petrol and diesel engines on offer, a huge list of options and a choice of different suspension set-ups, Audi A4 buyers have plenty of choice. For the ultimate in comfort and low running costs, go for the 2.0 TDI in SE trim, but for a sportier drive the 2. TFSI turbo petrol model in S line trim is the best bet - although you'll need to ask yourself if you can live with the stiff suspension all the time. Whichever model you choose, you'll be rewarded with an excellent all-rounder, and as soon as you get behind the wheel and experience the high quality interior, you'll realise why the A4 is so popular. Audi A5 Sportback review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a5/hatchback/review The Sportback is the most practical member of Audi's stylish and upmarket A5 family. It joins the A5 Coupé and Cabriolet editions, but adds the practical appeal of four-doors and a spacious boot, accessed through a large hatchback. Audi claims the A5 Sportback has no direct rivals, yet both new BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class come close. And while there is much to recommend the A5's beautiful design and roomy cabin, you might not like the firm ride, and the Sportback is not the best A5 to drive. BMW 3 Series 2005 - 2011 review - CarBuyer
Full Review at: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/bmw/series-3/saloon/review The BMW 3 Series is the king of the hill in the compact executive car class and is a great car to drive. That said, it's not perfect -- the cabin, for example, is not as versatile or spacious as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and the boot is not as large the one in Audi's A4. Even so, it's a good all-rounder, and what's more it has some of the cleanest, greenest engines in its class. The diesel versions offer staggering fuel economy, as well as being refined and powerful, while the range-topping V8-engined M3 offers supercar-rivalling performance. That said, standard 3 Series models lag behind the class best for comfort, especially in M Sport trim. Do you own this car? Mercedes CLS-Class review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mercedes/cls-class/saloon/review There were plenty of people who doubted Mercedes-Benz' ability to successfully combine the looks and drivability of a coupé with the practicality of a saloon. They shouldn't have done... The CLS didn't just impress all those who saw it, it inspired an entire new class of rival and copycat cars, including the Audi A5 Sportback, the Audi A7 Sportback and the Volkswagen Passat CC. This is the second generation of the car. It gets an even bolder design and totally new range of engines.

Audi A3 review - CarBuyer
Full Review at: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a3/audi-a3/review The Audi A3 is available in three and five-door bodystyles and is one of the best premium hatchbacks on the market. Thanks to its smart, understated design and superior build quality, it's desirable and hangs onto its value exceptionally well. A wide choice of engines is offered, plus manual, automatic and semi-automatic gearboxes - all of which are tough and reliable. A recent 2008 restyle made it look even sharper. The premium badge and smart styling are a big part of the A3's appeal. It's also good to drive, but while it's refined and well built its chassis lacks the sparkle of mainstream rivals like the Ford Focus. The A3's diesel engines offer great fuel economy and tend to be worth more second-hand. The five-door A3 Sportback builds on the appeal of the three-door hatchback. The only difference is a redesigned rear, that creates an extra 20 litres of boot space. You still get the same safe and predictable driving experience and a large choice of engines. The model is best suited to young families. Do you own this car? Let us know what you think about it with the Driver Power Survey http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/front_website/driverpower/2011

Audi Q5 review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/q5/sports-utility-vehicle/review Despite a firm ride and limited off-road ability, the Audi Q5 is still a very desirable car. Aimed at the Land Rover Freelander 2, it has the build quality and refinement of an Audi saloon but the practicality and space of a larger 4x4, so it's an excellent compromise.

Volvo S60 review - CarBuyer
Full Review at: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/volvo/s60/saloon/review Volvo has long worked hard to be seen as a credible alternative to the big-selling premium German firms. And the S60 might just be the car to take on Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW - it feels like a very high quality product indeed. Despite Volvo's sporting aims, the S60 is a more comfortable drive than such rivals. That's a good thing, given the poor state of the UK's roads. The S60 was introduced with a range of powerful engines, while top-of-the-range models come with four-wheel drive. The economy-focused 1.6 diesel DRIVe version offers sub-115g/km of CO2, meaning you'll only have to pay £30 annually in Road Tax. Do you own this car? Audi Q3 review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/q3/sports-utility-vehicle/review With the launch of the Audi Q3, the firm has entered the growing market for crossovers - cars which look like big, chunky off-roaders, but are as easy to drive and economical as a family hatchback. The Q3 is a direct rival for the BMW X1, MINI Countryman and Range Rover Evoque, and is built to Audi's usual high standards. Interior quality is excellent, and there's space for five inside

Ford Mondeo review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/ford/mondeo/hatchback/review It's a common sight on Britain's roads, but Ford's Mondeo family car is anything but average! In fact, it's an almost flawless offering in the family car market. The five-door Mondeo has a massive boot, offers loads of passenger space and the most comfortable ride in its class. What's more, it's still fun to drive. Even basic Edge trim gets alloy wheels and air-conditioning, while top-level Titanium models are lavishly equipped. Of all the engines available the diesels are best, offering punchy performance with good economy - especially the green ECOnetic edition. Do you own this car? BMW 3 Series review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/bmw/series-3/saloon/review The new BMW 3 Series has a lot to live up to, as its predecessor has been the class leader in the compact executive sector since making its debut in 2005. But the old car wasn't without its flaws, and recent updates to the Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class have made the 3 Series look vulnerable. As a result, the latest model couldn't have come soon enough. Designers have worked hard to improve BMW in every area, while there's now a model to suit every taste and budget, including ES, ED, SE, Luxury, Modern and Sport. Bigger, more refined and with a range of efficient new engines, the all-new version is the best yet. Audi A6 review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a6/saloon/review You have to admire the new, 2011 Audi A6. Built out of more lightweight materials than ever, the latest A6 is faster yet more economical than ever while inside its incredibly classy cabin is chock full of all the gadgets you'd expect on a luxury car. There's a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, along with the option of quattro four-wheel drive too.

Peugeot 508 review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/peugeot/508/saloon/review The Peugeot 508 is the firm's latest contender in the family car class. The looks may be a little divisive but at least they stand out, and this car's abilities are far more than skin deep. As well as being good to drive it's also luxurious and comfortable. The only problem could be with its price -- in range-topping trim it comes close to accomplished executive models such as the BMW 3-Series.

Audi A1 Sportback review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/audi/a1/sportback/review The A1 Sportback is a more practical five-door version of the Audi A1, and is designed to take on the MINI Clubman. It's slightly taller and wider than the three-door version, which creates a little extra room for passengers in the back. The additional rear doors now make the A1 a realistic proposition for families with small children, although space is still tight in the back for adults.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mercedes/s_class/saloon/review With its high quality cabin and incredible luxury, the Mercedes S-Class is the best limousine money can buy. Comfort and build quality are second-to-none, while the engines are smooth and powerful. There's plenty of space inside, and long wheelbase versions offer huge amounts of rear passenger legroom.
