WalMart ruins customers engine and then refuses to fix it
Walmart ruins customer's engine and then refuses to fix it - My neighbor is the one who's car was ruined. She sued walmart in small claims court and won. They paid to replace the engine in her car. She used them as they were convenient as she works right across the street but she obviously won't let them touch her car again.

My car has 2 more quarts of engine oil after servicing in Walmart. They sent this video to me and claimed they did not find any problem in the video. I'll say the camera was too far to show any detail.
How Oil Pressure Works - EricTheCarGuy
How Oil Pressure Works - EricTheCarGuy

Here is the second offering from last weeks set of videos. The most important thing to note with this is that oil pressure is not created by the pump but rather the resistance to the outlet flow of that pump and part of that resistance is the clearances between the bearings and the other parts inside the engine. If nothing else I hope you are entertained, enjoy!

Failed motor swap
I finally got my sr20det motor swap finished after several months of work, it ended up having a really nice knock on at least 3 cylinders, if not all 4 cylinders, you can hear the knock at just over half of the video, I purchased this motor from jdmenginescorp.com, do not buy from them!!!

Hi, Im Doug, aka Mr Main Event. Im an expediter contracted on with Bolt Express in Toledo, Ohio. I drive a 1997 Ford E-250 and it now has over 1,000,000 miles on the original motor and original transmission. Both have never been rebuilt. Many parts on my van are still original. Ive never had the transmission pan off and have never replaced the transmission filter. Ive used only Valvoline brand of Oil and have used their T-Tech machine for my transmission fluid changes at approx every 50,000 miles. I change my oil approx every 10,000 miles. I have to add a quart of oil every full tank of gas so there is always some new oil in the pan. I just wait for it to go black before changing it. My longest period between oil changes was 55,000 miles a few years back. Is that bad?? I use the regular Oil, no high milage oil. On 7-16-07 I replaced my first muffler and tailpipe, in front of the muffler still original. I was able to get over 500,000 miles on my original serpentine belt before changing it. I kept it as a high milage trophy belt. I had to keep a belt with that many miles on it. With 1 million miles on the van, Ive only broke down 6 times. 2 times it was the alternator, 3 times it was the fuel pump and once was a wheel bearing. Most all my repairs are done by Mytee discount automotive on Holland Sylvania rd in Toledo, Ohio. B&R quick lube in Monroe, Michigan is the oil change place that taught me about all my fluid changes. Big thank yous go to both of them places.
ORIGINAL PARTS: Motor, Transmission, both radiator hoses, water pump...
REPLACED PARTS: 3 Fuel pumps, rebuilt alternator 3 times, 2 front springs and usual front end parts, 1 radiator in July of 2004 but still original hoses, 3 or 4 serpentine belts, turn signal unit, 2 windshields, driver side mirror and normal tune up parts.
Did I mention I did all these miles with no cruise control and last 5 years with no air conditioning?!
