autodimming rear view mirror with homelink for 2011 VW GTI
I just installed one of the GTI's Christmas presents - a Gentex auto dimming rear view mirror with home link. This will solve one of my only gripes about the GTI - the lack of homelink. The stock rear view also wasn't auto dimming so this should help with those tailgaters with the bright lights too!

This is a Gentex 177 mirror. Google Gentex compass zones to find out what zone you are in. When I find some more wire, Ill make my own plug and play testing circuit for future mirrors I may purchase.
