buick GS 455 stage 1 first startup on engine stand
This is the first startup of my 455 stage 1 after rebuild! It crashed few months ago :((.
Exhausts on this teststand are the stock cast headers. carb is a beautyfull barry grant 850 demon on an edelbrock 455 performance intake. cam is a SP 1165R, 112LC. Later, we replaced it with a stock GS cam for smoother running. TA 1.65 red roller rockers. heads flowed and ported. SP/FM hypereutectic pistons. Kenne Bell valve covers. they look kinda cool, don't they?
This should push around 390HP with the stock cam and around 430HP with the SP cam! runs like a baby :). listen!

1987 Buick Grand National STK 0003-ATL.mpg
Extremely nice 1987 Buick Grand National that has been restored and only has about 30K miles on a fully rebuilt drive train. This car has a beautiful newer black paint job that looks better than factory and has a mirror-like finish. Mechanically the car has a lot of new parts and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor. This GN has been very well cared for its entire life and comes with a folder full of receipts from over the years. Minor performance modifications include a 93 Octane computer chip, Accufab fuel pressure regulator, and a Kenne Bell cold air intake. Hooked to this turbo charged wonder is a stock transmission backed by stock 3.42 Posi Rear End. These GN's are destined to be future collector cars and are one of the biggest performance bargains to come out of the 1980's. If you've never driven one you don't know what you're missing!
